I never actually expect to like Hu Tao’s playstyle, due to it’s YOLO nature of playstyle like Xiao where I expect to be ded every few minutes fighting with very low HP.
The big difference between Xiao & Hu Tao is that, Xiao is very squishy and will be ded with minor wrong moves or unable to shield in time, while Hu Tao is so tanky even if she only have 25% HP remaining.
Hu Tao don’t get yeeted by enemies like Geovishaps, she can easily face tank almost anything with the help of Zhongli’s Shield and Xingqiu’s damage reduction.
I tried several artifacts builds like Crimson Witch 4Pcs, Crimson Witch 2Pc + Noblesse Oblige 2Pc but the artifact build I prefer is Gladiator 4Pcs, this way I can easily spam attacks with Xingqiu and deal tons of Pyro & Hydro within Hu Taos 8 seconds damage window.
But I totally believe that Bolide 4Pcs is the best artifacts for Hu Tao, so that even her charge attack is boosted while shielded, but sadly I only have Gladiator set for her for now.
