That’s what people need to realize. Games have always looked good on console for the most part but they just need to use the headroom for better aliasing and always at a minimum hit 60fps. Love seeing the direction and standard change. About f!***?€ time

The LODs still look like ass… pop-ins everywhere. I hope in future games that will not happen anymore, pop-ins are the immersion killer number 1 for me. I think if the SSD and the VRAM would be managed better and smarter, this wouldn't be an issue anymore.

hey digital foundry, I think this is NOT a "technical marvel" or a beautiful looking game AT ALL. Anisotropic filtering is broken, antialiasing is blurry as hell and texture LOD is near as hell on 1080p resolution. It looks bad in every way possible on every possible setting/machine configuration. The tickrate of the servers is 12tps, which destroys the competitive nature of the game, making the encounters almost… random. It's a free game meant to last one year only, to be replaced with another one next year. please do not dedicate one more minute to this, please.

I know it can't be just me, but for a few weeks Warzone and Modern Warfare had the Series X/S logo and it was listed in the Optimized for Series X category. Then 1 day it went back to the xbox one games. Did this happen to anyone else? Usually on xbox you automatically get the upgraded version

Does Xbox series X have the 1080, 120hz option like xbox one x did? Surely that would improve the FPS? I've been playing on that purely for the fact that the 120hz ast 1080p decreases the input lag so in theory should help?
Too much resolution drop. I’ll take 4K 60. To go from 60 to 90 you will never feel it.
All it did was upgrade the graphics. You still can't blow up a trashcan with a RPG. It will never be BF.
When will companies realize we want high refresh rate gaming, not high-resolution gaming. 1080p is just fine. And instead of increasing foliage coverage, increase render distance, anti-aliasing, and LOD quality, and texture quality.

For the fps test you should try and delete the optional high res pack
I’ve been playing Warzone on the og xbone at 720 to get any fps at all, the resolution on the series S looks fine to me lmfao.

I would take more frame rate over resolution (1080p ~100fps > 55% 4K ~90fps) for FPS games like Warzone. xBox Series S did very well.
Could you run at 2k to achieve 120fps on the series x or even 1080p?
