Catch-up Guide for Shadowlands Pre-patch | Getting ready for endgame/Mythic+ | World of Warcraft

This video walks you through all the steps to getting a powerful hero in Shadowlands pre-patch in World of Warcraft. This unlocks Battle for Azeroth’s endgame for you and allows you to fully enjoy what the game has to offer in terms of endgame. I walk you through the quests for Shroud of Resolve and Heart of Azeroth and give you some ideas for doing Mythic+ and gearing up later as you progress with your gear.

Quests you need to do (I only did the alliance side so here it goes):
Get to level 50 with BfA campaign, do BfA main questline (if you get to the scouting map, choose Drustvar) and quest enough in all regions to get friendly with Proudmoores and Storm’s Wake.
Pick up your heart (should be available at lvl 50 from a quest by Magni).
If you quested elsewhere:
Just do BfA main questline until you get to scouting map and choose Drustvar.
Do the Drustvar until you unlock Order of Embers. Complete other 2 faction quests for Uniting Kul Tiras: https://ptr.wowhead.com/quest=51918/uniting-kul-tiras (you just do quests in respective areas of the two remaining to unlock these reputations); You establish three footholds on Zandalar via map on Alliance’s ship in Boralus.

Uniting Kul Tiras requires the three reputations AND the three foothold quests you get on the ship!
After that, you should get 8.2 questline (https://www.wowhead.com/quest=56031/the-wolfs-offensive). You do it until you unlock essences: https://www.wowhead.com/guides/heart-of-azeroth-essence-overview#unlocking-azerite-essence-system
Horde equivalent: https://www.wowhead.com/quest=51916/uniting-zandalar
You run within Najatar until Essential Empowerment, through which you unlock essences (https://ptr.wowhead.com/quest=55851/essential-empowerment). Roll with this questline until Magni is done with you.
Now your Heart is level 50 and you’re good to go!

Once you get the cloak and level it up to 5, you’re good to go (although you can grind it up to rank 12 for additional bonuses).
