Catching SLABS w/ the LIVESCOPE Technology! (Just Like a VIDEO GAME!)

In this video, Ben (owner of EuroTackle) and I catch some SLAB Black Crappie from the Connecticut River using the Garmin LIVESCOPE Technology!!! This is PART 1 of our boat adventure on the River. PART 2 of this fishing session will be out on the YouTube Channel after the 18th of this month (1″ EPF Swim Restock!!!).
[April 23rd, 2021 (Fishing Session Number 28)]

Read more about it below:

📟…Of all the different “Sonar Systems” that I have experienced, the Garmin Livescope is definitely the most advanced that I have ever seen! As mentioned in the video, Ben was using a Garmin 1242XSV Plus paired up with a LVS32 Transducer. This combo alone is a couple thousand dollars. If you don’t believe me, check the affiliate links below:
Garmin GPSMAP 1242XSV: https://amzn.to/3iIv5bD* (this one is the regular one — the plus is an additional $500 for better imaging)
Garmin Panoptix LVS32: https://amzn.to/3gHi6Eg*
If you are thinking of buying a combo like this, make sure that the transducer is compatible with your screen system!
📟…A lot of the bigger Crappie were rather “finicky” at this particular fishing spot. Contrary to popular belief and just like all other species out there, not all Crappie are always willing to take your lure. Some of the catches in this video required two or three casts to entice the fish to smash lure!
📟…As mentioned in the video, the majority of Big CRAPPIE were isolated from smaller schools of fish. Just like some other species out there, the bigger ones do tend to lead a “solitary” lifestyle outside of the spawning season.
