If the Cavs don't get their act together next season (show SOME progress), I'm finally going to give up on watching/following them. It's just too frustrating rooting for such a poorly run franchise. Obvious moves prior to the 2022 season: FIRE Bickerstaff & his terrible staff, hire Dave Joerger to be HC, and move Sexton to 6th man where he can be instant offense off of the bench. I love Sexton, but he can score 30 points, & have no real impact on a game. He is basically Jordan Clarkson.
The ONLY players on the current roster that should 100% be around in 2022: Garland, Okoro, Allen, Sexton, Wade, Nance, and (believe it, or not!) Hartenstein. They should maybe consider bringing back Osman, and Prince. Outside of that, they should dump everyone else. Unfortunately, despite no longer being able to play, Love will likely be back in 2022. Love should have some pride & just retire.
If hachimura can put it all together then he could be the key for this team in the future… his upside is insane but by next yr he has to start turning that corner
