  1. I very much doubt CP2077 will be in a very usable state by the end of 2021. The 1.2 Patch has significantly improved it, but in my 4 hr play of it yesterday, it's still a buggy mess. Though it didn't actually crash. So there is that.🤷‍♂️🙄

  2. Personally, I think they just burned themselves with CP2077 and are trying to return to what they are good at and simply are like "Whats done is done, lets move on from this dumpster fire and make Witcher 4. We know how to do it, we have formulas and people love it = win win while its also easier" BUT that will give them such a comfort that same thing as Cyberpunk happens with the Witcher 4.

  3. I would assume that they probably are gonna make the artists or storytellers start ahead on the ideas and vision of a new Witcher game while the more technical/gameplay part of the company would continue upgrading cyberpunk…

  4. They released a complete breakdown of the future of the company that answers all the questions you are asking, still unrealistic but I don’t think you saw it all

  5. Cyberpunk was an overhyped, underdeveloped, overmarketed and long overdue mess. They announced the damn thing and delayed it for nearly a decade.

This is why I'm not pissed at Rockstar for being quiet on GTA 6. I can wait.

Hopefully Witcher 4 is actually done well, and with actual content already in existence with books, CDPR don't actually have to create the whole world.

  6. Sounds like a premature april fools joke. They released CP'77 4+ years of proper development time and were only able to release a severely lacking half-finished game. They don't have the workforce nor the experience to work on multiple AAA productions at the same time.

  7. If they learned their lesson, then we can expect it in 5,6 years or even more (and thats good) but if they didn’t learned lesson then in 2 years well get 2 crap games. We’ll see…

  8. Whatever, the damage is done, they lied about cyberjunk so how do we know they aren’t lying now? Once someone deceives you, it’s safe to assume everything they say from that instance forward is a lie.

  9. And now comes the cancellation of CP multi-player, and any major story DLC. They got their bug-fix patch out, which only fixes some things, and now they’re done I suppose?

  10. Well Witcher series it was nice knowing you. I'm just gonna pretend that if a Witcher 4 comes out that it doesn't exist to me. Ruind the biggest game of dare I say the decade. It was supposed to be the greatest game to exist and extend the limits of gaming. Instead there's this broken buggy mess. It is rotten to the core and I was praising the game beyond belief before it came out and tried to defend it when it did.

  11. idk why people still keep using this crunch excuse , people need to get in their heads that people get paid for working overtime , their not babies , their not stupid and they know the benefits and the downsides of their jobs , people using excuses for their fuckups is just pointless , this guys got paid for their extra hours

  12. Let's hope that they will be more honest as well. I think the lack of honesty is their greatest offense with Cyberpunk. They refused to show the game running on last gen. They denied Reviewers access to those versions and limited the ammount of footage they could show. To say that CDPR did anything but lie would be a… Well, a lie. They lied to their fans. And that's something they should not get away with too easily. In other words, i think no one should pre-order their next game. Because since they went full on Tripple A they've had one success and one flop. The Witcher 3 was buggy at launch. But it turned into a great game. Cyberpunk was broken at launch and has turned into a barely functional game. CDPR doesn't actually have a great track reccord as a AAA Publisher. Even if they show more next time… Who's to say that they aren't just cutting out the bad bits? We can't just lower our expectations. That's in part how we ended up with a game as broken as Cyberpunk. Because Publishers think they can get away with this bullshit because we don't expect as much anymore. If you love something, be critical and hard. That's the only way to keep it great. If you start to expect less and less and forgive more and more… Well, that's when Developers and Publishers start thinking ''We can just release it and fix it later… They won't care''.

  13. So they fucked up by announcing cyberpunk to soon, and they do the same thing with the next game they are developing……. are this people stupid??!!?

  14. They couldn't finish ONE game and they say they will start working on multiple projects at the same time now…. and that's suppossed to be good? I mean, they tried to work on CP2077 and Witcher 3 at the same time, that didn't work and then they couldn't even finish the game on time working ONLY on that game and now they will work in parallel. Ok. They learned nothing. Also saying there won't be crunch…. they already said that in the past and also didn't happen.

  15. Honestly Keanu is a great human but the reason cyberpunk got fucked he didn't completely fit Johnny silverhand……his arrival hyped fans sky high and the story was rewritten to completely revolve around his character

  16. Witcher 3 is one of my two favorite games ever other being rdr2 for its details and I BELIEVE cdpr correction I WANT cdpr to make the next witcher game to be as good as both they have it in them… they just need to admit it and throw cp 2077 into a dustbin and move on its dead already

  17. I think Bethesda perfected the formula. A May reveal with a trailer, June showing the game off in greater detail and releasing the game in November. It worked beautifully with Fallout 4, granted FO76 had a disastrous launch but that had nothing to do with marketing as opposed to the fact they never did multiplayer before and were amature at it.

I think it's best for everyone to wait until your 6 months out to even announce a game and then in a matter of months you have it on your own system and are playing it. Waiting until 6 months before release should guarantee it's in a acceptable state. It's good for players and it's good for the company so they don't tarnish their image.

  18. Do people still not realize how long game development takes? Yes preprepre concept production may begin 8 years before a game is even announced. This isn't that big of a deal
