  1. When the virus is good, it can be hard to find a clean, UNINFECTED backup.
Sometimes it ends up being a pretty old backup and it's all very far from a small inconvenience… and quite often there are no backups old enough…

  2. SidAlpha video, yayy!
Sorry to hear about IRL challenges, good to know you've prioritized it!
Best wishes for a smooth ride onwards, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the detailed walkthrough of CDPR's issues, that's why I'm subbed to you!
Videos may be few and far between but they show dedication and knowledge with the ability to explain in simpler terms what's the issue.
    Stay safe and have fun!

  3. I worked at a cable company where everyone in the company except the system admin wasn't allows to get emails with attachment or visit gaming sites, like steam, the system admin opened an email with the "I love you" virus attached and infected the whole company due to he has full excess rights to everything. they spent years reminding him what a complete idiot he was. computer system was broken for a week.

  4. These hackers are going to jail, along with whoever brought the items cause they would be in procession of documents that they didn’t make or had a hand in making and let’s face it it does become a federal crime

  5. This is obviously illegal and I hope that the one responsible are caught regardless of what people think of CDPR because they have likely done this to other people that would suffer more from this. Also even if the unknown blackmailer release the data we can never truly know if it is the truth, a lie, or altered with a mix of both to cause maximum damage. It's data; it can be changed; it can be modified just like money its just a number. The real victims will will be the people working at the bottom

  6. Dude seriously, I haven't seen one of your videos pop up for me in almost a year and a half. Before seeing this, I thought your channel died. I don't even get notifications anymore.

  7. Don't worry, I'm like a week late on watching my subscription videos too, so no harm done. I'd rather have once a month quality content from this channel, than daily bad content.
