Celebrate MLK: TIME Studios Presents March Through Time in Fortnite

Celebrate the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a new interactive experience presented by TIME Studios. fn.gg/DC63

March Through Time teleports players to D.C. 63, a reimagined Washington, DC. Built by ChaseJackman, GQuanoe, XWDFr, and YU7A, travel to the Lincoln Memorial and United States National Mall, where Dr. King gave his iconic 17 minute speech for Civil Rights.

The experience extends with museum-inspired points of interest, and collaborative mini-game quests you complete with others. These activities progress players through the experience and bring to life important themes of Dr. King’s speech: we move forward when we work together.

  1. This is racist, promotion of hate, and brain washing of kids that you're training to use weapons to kill people with a video game that is free on many different platforms to brain wash and train to the masses, that you're also making money from milking that lunch money for skins and junk.

  2. you know marthin luther king was pretty cool but i don't think he belongs in fortnight. just something feels a little tone deaf. but i never played fortnite to begin with so I'm not the target market and it might actually be really cool

  3. If they’d given us an MLK skin (with B&W and color versions of course) for completing the thing, I might have bothered to cooperate with somebody to finish all the aimless little multi-player mini games it had. I wish I lived in that world!
Let’s see, he could have had a Lincoln Memorial back bling, and smack other players upside the head with a protest sign harvesting tool. And a Bible opening up as his glider, pages flapping in the wind!
Doing a victory emote as MLK… The tastelessness would have been glorious!

  4. So, once you have finished listening, you can go back to shooting people, in the face. I understand what they are doing, but seems inappropriate.
