  1. the spurs got outrebounded by 20. and they gave up 14 offensive rebounds. so the fact that the clippers shot 38% from the floor and started terrance mann and patrick patterson in place of kawhi and marc morris doesn't really matter. the spurs just didn't come to play. keldon wasn't able to assert himself in either game (1st or 2nd). i know the matchup for him in the first game was tough, but neither kawhi nor marc morris played in this game. dejounte looked to score a little bit more—which i think is good for the ream overall. i'm still not a fan of the dejounte/derrick pairing. rudy and patty are true vets. they are also the first guys off the bench. both give maximum effort on defense, but definitely not our best defenders. it just makes sense to me to bring derrick off the bench so you can flank rudy and patty with two good defenders in him and devin (who is turning out to be a really good help defender). also, derrick can now initiate the offense where i think he's at his best. starting them in the backcourt is not bad—it's a good thing. i'm jus not sure if it's the best thing. i read that we added marquise chriss to the roster. he was playing really well for the warriors before he got hurt, so i think it's a good move—as long as he can get back healthy. idk—the spurs should've kept chimezie metu. he's similar to chriss in some ways, but a bit more talented in my opinion.

  2. All you can do is shake your head if you're a Spurs fan…GM did nothing during the trade deadline…If any potential playoff team need some interior help at the rim and boards it's the Spurs…Its time to try something new…
