  1. Not the 1st time sony or Microsoft put there own games on each console 🤔 sony did it with DC universe before now know as Daybreak split from sony aswell as MBL THE SHOW now coming to xbox and we know history of Minecraft now owned by Microsoft am sure was others over the years probably won't be the last

  2. they don’t really need exclusivity if they make those games run better and in higher resolution on xsx, i have both consoles so from my perspective, i would just buy on game to game basis whichever runs better on either console.

  3. The big name franchises with several sequels behind them will probably not be the exclusive ones. I can't see them pulling Fallout or Elder Scrolls from multiplatform sales, for example. Too much money involved for that. I'm not sure about Doom. That could go either way. Fortunately for me, the PC/ Pro (PS5 in less than 2 weeks; finally got one!) combo makes me immune to this problem. I may even get several of them included with PC GamePass.

  4. So when Sony buys a multiplat company like Insomniac, Sony fans expect their games to be PS ONLY yet, when MS buys their own multiplat company, these same Sony fans HOPE some of these games come to PS? The hypocrisy is REAL.

  5. I'm a Xbox player I just like there system and controller it just fits the way I play. As far as games going to play station 5 I say NO and here Y. For years play station rubbed it in Xboxes face u have no game's u need exclusives well that proble has been sorted. And to tell u the truth I'm tired of ps5 fans doing that. Lets put on the hat of what would of happen if ps5 had of got Bethesda would SONY let any games go to Xbox. Does the words I don't think so mean any thing would they let god of war Spiderman or days gone well I know we all know the answer to that 1 don't we. Out side of online multi player mmos and already games that have been made for Sony I say nope. Like Sony them self say if u want to play or games buy or console its that simple.

  6. Its is good for Microsoft but they just do not make any decent games. Now having Bethesda starfield will have to be truly amazing for me to buy an xbox and well elder scrolls is so many years away I would only buy an xbox when that releases if it isn't a buggy mess ..

  7. @Foxy Games UK All Bethesda games will remain exclusive to Xbox and it's ecosystem.
Microsoft knows they will earn more by making new Xbox gamers long term than selling less than 20 million more copies. Most ps owners don't buy their exclusives. It's not 100 million copies. Look at the sales with all Sony exclusive games.

Microsoft didn't spend $7.5 Billion to give their investment away to their competitor.

    Direct Phil Spencer quote
"I don’t have to go ship those games on any other platform other than the platforms that we support in order to kind of make the [$7.5 billion] deal work for us."

  9. I am a Playstation guy through and through.

I do love Elder Scrolls and Fallout so would be sad to see them go, but at the same time would be happy to see Xbox stepping up its game and getting in their own exclusives.

I will likely end uo playing es6 on PC as I have one too, but that wouldn't make me opt into gamepass.

If I can get es6 standalone great, but if only way is gamepass… I'll pass.

  10. PlayStation Fanboys are still crying over the fact that Microsoft acquired not Bethesda but the entire umbrella ZeniMax Media for 7.5bn. Sony Fans also said that Microsoft Phil Spencer said that Microsoft doesn't need Sony to recoup the 7.5bn which sent a few PlayStation Fans into a meltdown and some actually had a meltdown on YouTube which was very amusing to watch. It also makes a lot of market sense to keep a lot of titles exclusively to Xbox or Game Pass.

Let's reverse the whole acquisition here for a moment. Say for example Sony acquired Electronic Arts Sony would have done the same and made a lot of titles exclusively to the PlayStation onky… it isn't as some PlayStation Fans have out it as passing off your competitor but moreover, it is a marketing strategy move.

I've got nothing again PlayStation fans as I am one of them, I own a PS5 and an XBSX. But I'm not a PlayStation or an XBX Fanboy who is normally a 35-40 something male acting like a 10 year old boy on a playground. My console is superior and can do things your console cannot do it's sad and pathetic. I despise PlayStation and XBX Fanboys bickering like you're on a playground.

  11. I think the mass majority of everything Bethesda related will be timed exclusive to Xbox Game Pass platforms (1-2 years) and then release on PlayStation and Nintendo afterwards. Phil Spencer and the rest of Xbox’s leadership has made it abundantly clear that they don’t like exclusives and that they think of them as “completely counter to what gaming is about”. There is no reason to believe that Microsoft will be as predatory about exclusivity like Sony and Nintendo are and that’s Microsoft’s fault.

  12. I personally think that continuous franchises that already on PlayStation will most likely be timed exclusives on game pass.and new franchises would most likely stay exclusive to game pass just to force people to migrate over to game pass. But when it comes to the MMOs like fallout 76 it makes more sense for them to be multi-platform as cross play is the best way to sustain them

  13. Starfield will not be exclusive to Xbox. Just like when Microsoft has bought other studios like Obsidian, any games that were already being developed for other platforms will still be available for those platforms as Microsoft will not want the money those studios spent on developing them for those platforms to go to waste. Starfield has been in development since not long after Fallout 4 DLC development stopped, so will be one of those games.

  14. Bethesda comes home. I bought an original Xbox because the only console The Elder Scrolls III was on was the original Xbox because of the specs. I remember reading about it in gaming magazines and at the time it blew my mind

  15. Let's be honest here, the recent announcement hasn't actually made anything clearer. All we know is some games will be only on PC and Xbox. We will have to wait and see what that means, what games will or won't be coming to PS5 or other platforms. Does 'some games' include DOOM DLC, Fallout 76 DLC, Elder Scrolls Online updates, Ghostwire Tokyo, Deathloop and there may be even be more deals we don't know about. Bethesda could also be working on a F2P or another live service game that may make sense having those games on as many platforms as possible. Or, of course it could just mean that some new Bethesda games will be on PS5, Xbox and PC, while some other Bethesda games will be only on Xbox, PC and through xCloud.

  16. The quote from the press release which I can assure everyone had words that were chosen very carefully said "Xbox, PC, and Game Pass will be the BEST place to play bethesda games and SOME NEW TITLES will be exclusive to the Xbox and pc." Notice it didn't say "only" place to play. Notice it said "some new titles" will be exclusive. It's possible Starfield and smaller games from Arkane, Machine Games, Roundhouse, etc. will be exclusive, but to me reading that press release is basically saying Elder Scolls and Fallout will continue to be everywhere. They will just be "best" on Xbox and pc because they will be day 1 additions to Game Pass and will probably get timed exclusively on dlc. If the big BGS games were going to be exclusive we would know by now. Hell Todd Howard himself has said a few times, once recently after the acquisition was announced, he could not see a future where Elder Scrolls or Fallout games are exclusive to any platform.

  17. I think most won't make – some will.. the article says first – 1st party leading- I have a PS5 right now because of their 1st party software.. so ok – tell guys.. how many of those SONY 1st party games do u see on other consoles.. in order to make GAMEPASS very appealing like a NETFLIX or even a DISNEY+ like the MANDALORIAN.. they need to keep their best stuff there .. and I tell – it's very appealing to me..

  18. If you ask me, Xbox absolutely SHOULD make every game after Death Loop and Ghostwire Tokyo exclusive to Xbox and PC. This is comin’ from someone who prefers PlayStation but doesn’t discriminate on any platform.
