The point is to let the rolls the the story, IMO. Reloading to get the outcome you want makes the RNG element pointless, no?
I think I saw a lv 1 Druid with 20hp. A barbarian with 20 con would have 17hp. HOW DO I LEARN THIS POWER?!
that fight would have been way dif if the druid wildshape ability had adhered to the same rules as the pnp which basically makes it to where you have to fight the animal or creature they morph into as well as them. in the pnp when a druid wildshapes they take the form ( hp str etc other than mental abilities.) of the creature and when they are reduced to 0 hp in that form they revert back to there normal form taking dmg only if the amount that reverted them to 0 was more then they had hp left. meaning if they changed at full hp you would first have to take the forms hp to 0 then the druids down to 0 as well since that was clearly a very deadly fight for pnp roughly cr 6 when you are lvl 3 you shouldn't have walked away from that.

12 episodes in I feel like cohh should know to cast HEX first THEN Eldritch blast. This is the basic bread and butter combo of a warlock.
