Apex Legends season 10 collection event starts on Sept 14th with a brand new heirloom and a ton of nerfs to Seer, The Lstar, a Rampart Buff, and the removal of tap strafing and a change to the way shields work in the game. Lead balance designer Jay Biebs has said he has plans to look further into the data and do more changes to seer’s tatical that could involve the duration of his scan and how it can interrupt healing, along with that the L-star is being used more outside of arenas but the team is looking to scale it down with its high tier attachments. Rampart will be getting a spicy buff, and the team also said that tap strafing will be removed and are looking into changing how the aim assist also functions. Red and Gold shields will also recieve a patch to change the ability to swap them making it easier for players.

  1. Heirloom answer: L star nerf for sure. Gun is super busted in arenas: not much recoil, big bullets, high fire rate, no reload if used properly, easy to hit headshots etc. Needs tweaking for sure.

  2. Heirloom answer: Definitely a Seer nerf. While I know he just got one with his tactical not long ago, they still gave him so much with that tactical that made it hard for most people to try to choose another legend. Sadly, there’s only so much I can do as a Mirage main 😔 without his heirloom, I may add cough cough

  3. Id rather see a seer nerf. But honestly i really dont like the recent turn the community has made. It seems like were way more intrested in bashing minor things rather than adding cool fun stuff. And with the main dev change, this being the first thing they work on could set that as president and they continue on this path.

  4. Heirloom question – l-star nerf is needed I don't care what any says that gun is op and also the bullets are massive and deal a lot of damage and it's a long so headshots deal double damage nerf L-star please

  5. Heirloom answer- LStar nerf needs to happen again up close you destroy any target but at the same time you can put a 3x on it and snipe with it. They need to make the cooldown quicker even with the energy mag.

  6. Heirloom question: l star can be substitute to any weapon kind of any range. It has incredible fire rate and dmg and little to no recoil. If you peek correctly there’s no off time for reload. Seems like the only restriction is your ammo count

  7. Heirloom Answer: 1 I think the L-star should get a nerf and I think it would reduce the time that the time of the cool down and plus seer just got a big nerf but 8 seconds is a little bit to long so I guess they both could use a small nerf

  8. Heirloom Answer: I’d rather see a Lstar nerd considering seer has already been nerfed and his picking has already been decreased because he is now not as highly broken on release, the Lstar with no need of a reload animation you’ll notice players will just switch the Lstar to there secondary and the moment they have to switch back they’re not slowing down in dps at all because no reload is needed as well with Lstar

  9. I don't think either of them needs a nerf but I think randoms need a buff! I'm so tired of my random teammates that to busy site seeing while we get rolled up on by sweats. They don't heal or fight back.

  10. Heirloom Question Answer: I would rather see a seer nerf. I do want it to be clear that I dont think seer needs a substantial nerf but he is waaayyy more annoying than an l-star. I dont know what they could change but he needs it more that the l-star imo.

  11. I'd much rather see a Seer nerf, I think its easier to play against everyone using the L star as opposed to every team having a seer. His kit is just too strong in my opinion, but either way, I'm sure both will happen and I will still be playing with or without the nerfs

  12. Givaway question answer: i think seer needs to be silenced, i dont see l star being played too much and if i do go against it i find myself winning the fight alot..its more annoying to the point where i rage when im being revived and seer just stops that and theres no chance of winning..i honestly think no legend should be able to cancel a revive or healing because you can already see the players health bar and still can cancel when they wanna heal?? Thats not okay

  13. Lstar nerf for sure. hate that gun so much its so op for no reason,e energy weapons are all stupidly good at close range they didnt have to make one of them insane at midrange too

  14. Heirloom Question:
I'd rather an L-Star nerf than a Seer nerf bcs it's harder to fight any legend with an L-Star than a Seer with any other weapon
Seer's nerfs left him at a decent point and the only thing I would complain about might be his extremely useful and strong passive
While the L-Star is more than decent right now, its cadence and damage can absurdly melt hp bars, its recoil is mildly easy to control and it performs well up close range, midrange and far range
A setting that makes the weapon a bit more difficult to use or has lower numbers might be fine
Thank you very much for the giveaways and good luck to all of you

  15. Seer is moving out of the meta somewhat seeing a lot more ppl moving back t bloodhound. L star needs a nerf more to me it’s a crutch weapon similar to the spitfire at the beginning of season 9

  16. Heirloom Question: I'd Rather a L Star nerf since they already nerfed seer and it made him pretty bad already the L Star is very annoying to have to play against because of the tap shoot easy recoil trick and the bullet is huge.
