I can't be the only person wondering who this idiot making this theory is… Editors who actually edit the clips are only told to use certain games – should they be wins or losses. Some people win more because of skill, or the fact that they show mostly wins – because who wants to watch someone lose ALL the time? Just look up the average content creator's main accounts they use – you'll notice that there are off-meta and incompatible teammates as well. Hell, you will see them in the actual videos – look at old QTpie videos… Watch Trick2G… BunnyFuFu still gets trolls. Look at some Skooch gameplays. You literally sit down and watch highlights from Rav's games himself as he commentates on them… He's got PLENTY of videos that showcase it. What "countless videos" did he watch to get that conclusion that content creators are somehow exempt from their algorithm?
It's a good thing Rav didn't show the dumbass's name. Because I can't be the only one thinking that if he was put on blast that he'd better change his YouTube identity and run like eggs, or his self-esteem would be folded like an omelet. That long ass statement he left for Rav to showcase was just asinine. But… Rav made it SO entertaining and that's why I love his channels and content.

Tbh, I used to preach not blaming your teammates, but after the past couple of years, I've found some people really are the human equivalent of hot dog water when it comes to this game. I'm not perfect by any means, I've had some games I've fed, as we all have, but more times than not, my teams really do suck, and so does the team I'm up against. It's just a matter of who sucks less

My suggestion for that player is to LAY OFF THE LEAGUE for a week, maybe a month. However, players like him will make those rants then go into 15 more games, QQ in each one saying that X should've helped, or Y should've warded, etc. Blaming everyone but himself for his missteps. Ah well.

The rate in which i have other players actually carry me in solo Q is probably less than 1/20 games but at least i dont attribute it to Chinese conspiracies….

There are patented systems of game ranking and team placement that maximize “retention” of players. They 100% are controlling the outcomes of some games for this reason. Just not in all of the ways this person was saying.

I admit I'm not that good, (1 or 2 champs is mainly what I play and I'm gold), the 50% thing does make sense but the really good players, (the pros) have roughly a 50% wr for their high elo accounts as well. They are so good that they just climb. They have more knowledge in game and the limitations of every matchup (I would assume) so they never have a problem climbing out of low elo. They also do VOD reviews consistently and learn that way as well. If I lose more than 2 games I will still play league which I should just stop after back to back losses or more than 3 losses in a day but it's the only game I play and at least once every day. OTP'ing with a champ that isn't a hyper carry might be the reason certain people don't climb as much and the good players abuse meta champs each patch.
