Control is the latest action-adventure game from Remedy Entertainment known for Quantum Break, Alan Wake and the excellent Max Payne games. After a long period of developing exclusively for Microsoft’s platforms, the developer has decided to make his next project available for PlayStation 4 Playstation 5, PC and Xbox One, Xbox One S , Xbox One X , Xbox Series X , Xbox Series S. With Control, the studio has developed a passion project that shows the power of the studio: a strong storyline wrapped in a visual box of tricks.

The Director
After an alien threat – The Hiss – invades a secret agency in New York, you become the new director who must fight to regain control. Control is set in The Old House, a state-of-the-art skyscraper where supernatural threats are held. You take the role of Jess Faden. The player gets a personal look into Jess’s life and how she is growing in her role as The Director. The world of Control is unique because nothing is what it seems. The building and rooms you find yourself in are not limited to the physical world. Rooms can deform in size and hold countless secrets to discover. On her path, Jess meets new allies and learns to master supernatural powers such as telekinesis, flying, and controlling enemies.

The Service Weapon
Jess gains access to the Service Weapon as The Director. Many of Control’s unique gameplay features are tied to Jess’s unique weapon. The Service Weapon is known as an ‘Object of Power’. The Director can only access the weapon through a mysterious ritual. The whole of The Old House is packed with these objects that have supernatural properties. During your adventure to free The Old House from The Hiss, you must seek out these artifacts. Each item gives you powerful new features, and the way you play the game is also fully customizable. Are you someone who prefers to play straight forward shooters? Then you can give priority to your weapons. Are you a fan of supernatural powers? Then you can give priority to telekinesis. You can choose how you tackle the different obstacles on your path.
