The crafting skill in the hideout is a FANTASTIC addition to the game. It makes crafts faster, and at level 51 it allows you to craft 2 items at a time on every crafting station.
HOWEVER, there is a bug that has existed since the beginning of 12.9 that erases all of the “Craft Completion” XP gains every time you leave the menus and start a raid, get an error, or leave the game for any reason WITH AN INFINITE TIME DURATION LOOK-BACK.

This bug is so huge I heard Ridley Scott is working on a movie about it
so this is why ive been stuck at level 8 crafting for like a week

My hideout management is 27 and Crafting at 13. How the hell are they gonna calculate it and either A) give it to me or B) say tough shit?
Error 228 also resets all the crafting xp you got throughout the whole day which is disgusting and I really just cant believe that its not fixed yet

so glad i got kappa and dont have to worry about crafting or booze. this shit is done on purpose by the devs cuz “mah progression ree”
I still prefer the bug in costum where i can assure my loot dont get looted and throw nade from outside the map or the one where i can unload and reload my gun mag silently in a fraction of second . The one where i split my model in 2 to shoot through wall is funny too but a bit hard to pulloff .

This game is just disappointing over and over..This it's a Beta excuse..They wolnt even fix the desync and the hit reg
it also affects hideout management, but not nearly as much as the crafting skill
this probly got messed up when they patched people spamming recoil control in their firing range
So 255 days of min maxing. Challenge accepted 😛

they dont care if the game has problems they enjoy seeing the player base struggle and get pissed they live off of it.
AirwingMarine has been talking about this basically since the the beginning of patch.
This bug has been around for 3-4 weeks or so. The fact that it still exists just proves the point that BSG wants to hinder your progression by any means possible.This "bug" can be fixed in a couple of days or a week(in case they haven't implemented this on server side at all). And I'm saying this coz I am developer, I can presume implementation time for this.

Makes sense why I am still stuck on level 4 even though I have been alternating crafts like a mad man for 2-3 weeks, I dont have time to play during the week, but enough time to do a quick hideout check so I am only level 19 PMC
Im not saying that this is not true but it definitely not takes 255 days to max this skill. It is 45 days from wipe and im already at lvl 35 of crafting and 37 lvl management and im not crafting all day every day. So the crafting skill is not half of management skill.

Great video…I was completely unaware of this. Also explains why it keeps showing I have incoming messages….. Read/collect all, go into a raid, and boom…says I have messages again but nothing there. Probably the same client side action not being updated by the server as you theorized. Guess that's why we're still in beta 🙂
I know how to keep the skill. I knew about this from just messing around with hideout so much. I don't make videos. But I did make one real quick on how I KEEP my crafting skill from getting screwed up
Gets old that a brilliant game in concept is flawed by such amateur hour devs. How many years with as little progress as we've seen. Introduction of hideout was huge but has been quite some time and they still struggle with reoccuring bugs, new bizzare bugs, etc. Everything else is mostly rebalancing and new guns. At least the map revamps and reserve where all really good additions, I think the game would certainly be struggling if it didn't at least have those keeping us in this love/hate relationship. At least the stutters are 98% gone, as those after 2 years were driving me to quit. As much as I bitch, I did upgrade to EOD last sale, but it just gets frustrating over time w/ some of this stuff.
I trusted you before you said there was no editing trickery. Very good video man. I still have a weak hideout so it doesn't really effect me. Hopefully it's fixed by the time I'm that large.

Hey onepeg , the problem is , you can gain your recoil skill on schooting range to. You can schoot on schooting range , turniej around ang your mag’s are full again, and recoil skill is growing. That’s why the exp and skill gaind im Hideout is reseting everytime…

I did found a way to work around it. Instead of using "Auto" server just play on one server for example Austria and select only this one. Even if you relog or restart the game points do not dissapear. This looks like server data sync issues. This will cause you waiting for a raid longer period of time but if you want to power-level craft this is the only way for now :(.
PS: I have tested it only with Offline raid so if someone could test it with Online it would be nice. It also works with restarting the game (haven't checked rebooting PC)
