  1. Everyone saying the Switch version holds up well, I'm wondering if we're looking at the same comparison… The Switch version is very blurry. Main thing I think looking at the two comparisons is that the Switch Pro can't come soon enough, because the Switch is really showing its age on this video.

  2. The Switch seems to suffer from the same blurred visuals that the N. Sane trilogy on Switch had, plus that halved frame rate really sticks out. I wish they'd just release the game on PC. EDIT: Never mind looks like it is coming to PC later this year 😀

  3. From what I saw the PS4 version had load time issues early on, which makes me wonder how they could optimize that — game itself is pretty smooth and still looks great though IMO.

  4. Not gonna like the switch version seems choppy compared to the ps5 and it is not a fair comparison. Heck, the Switch is not even close to the base ps4 in terms of horse power. However, the switch version is not a terrible port, arguably a good por given kthe Switch's limitation.

  5. These load times are nothing when you compare them to the abomination that were CTR Nitro Fueled's load times.
In terms of framerate, 60 fps is a huge jump but I expect to play this a lot on the road, so Switch it is.
Maybe I will rebuy it for PS5 when I finally get one a few years later (The inevitable revisioned model that is).

  6. We know that the PS5 has a better cpu, so that's going to be an unreasonable point against the switch. Can you take crash 4 with you on the go on the PS5? No. To me that's worth the price of admission alone. And better than N sane trilogy.

  7. The real story here is that the ps5 version isn't even more upgraded! It is pretty telling when a tablet can even compete with a top notch new high end platform. I mean even if the switch version was the ps4 version and this was the next leap in performence for the ps5 it would'nt be enough.

  8. I know that screen size and viewing distance makes a huge difference in what the human eye can make out so, with me being across the room from a 42 inch….
PS5 has a little more detail but, honestly, the Switch port still looks pretty damned good.
Yeah, PS5 loads a lot faster but… meh. 13 seconds is hardly an overwhelming hardship. Lol.
I MUST be getting old because, honestly, I'm beginning to wonder whether or not everyone bitching about any game being less than 12k @340 FPS or a load time higher than 1.5 seconds should be locked into a room with an old CRT and an Atari for a good month before they're allowed to complain again. 😂
Seriously though, the Switch port looks fine but, again, I play on a 42 incher from 12 feet away- there's only so much detail my set up even allows me to see anyway. Lol.

  9. As much as I love my Switch and as decent as this port seems, the Switch is really showing its age now. It was super dated hardware even when it was release in 2017 and now it's honestly pathetic compared to the PS5/XSX/PC. I really wish one of these generations Nintendo would build a console competitive with the others from a hardware perspective. I personally would gladly pay $500+ for something that isn't already 5 years out of date at launch.

  10. Ok, most comments I’ve seen are positive, so I prob don’t need to say this, but remember that the games on switch now, a devise with a ton less raw power then the PS5. It holds up really well

  11. Wow the PS5 version looks great! But the Switch version looks phenomenal, I have to import the physical from the US (even with the postage etc it's still cheaper than the UK eShop price!!)
