  1. Crypto main here:
    Both are true: he's really freaking good if you know how to play him, but he also sucks in a lot of situations and he has a STEEP learning curve.

    I'd love to see a new passive at least, but a tweak to his ultimate would be neat too. He uses a throwable EMP grenade in his SFTO video, so it'd be nice if while his drone was not deployed he could still use his ult that way. Some have said this'd be op, but I don't think so. The EMP covers a huge area and damages Crypto's shields as well, so the drone EMP would still be the best option so you could EMP an enemy without getting caught up in your own ult, but a grenade would still allow you to pop an ult fast in a close/tense situation even when your drone is on its massive cooldown.

    Last year there were two collection events in season 8 for the anniversary (with shards as the reward) and then for Chaos Theory (with Bangalore's Heirloom as the reward), so I'm hoping that'll still be the case in season 12.

  17. Crypto main here and he definitely could use some adjustments love playing him but if you play with a team that doesn't normally play with crypto you will feel useless or left behind.. but by far my favorite class to play

  24. Crypto definitely needs an off the grid buff…when scanned, there should be a scramble effect indicating that he's there but exact location is unknown.

    His ultimate should be separate from the drone…like an EMP grenade.

  28. Crypto was my first hard main until seasons 8 before his release I switched legends pretty frequent. I've been waiting for a buff so I could pick him again. One thing I wish they would do for his EMP is once you hit the ult button he take it out and would hold it like a grenade, you would get a neon light trail of where it can be thrown and the radius of the impact (kinda like Fuse's ult) then hit the fire button and he throws it and it goes off on impact. Now this would only happen if his drone is with him and now deployed.
