Oh shit I just got an idea. Okay. So we know how Cuphead accidentally killed Mugman during “Knockout” and the grief activated his nightmare mode? What if during one of these attempts to beat him Cuphead ends up coming across Mugman’s soul during the second phase and is able to parry it, reviving him and helping Cuphead finally win?

I like how relentless Death is. I expected a Grim Reaper sort of boss (because I have not watched Puss in Boots, which I think is the title if not sorry lol) but I guess not. I mean it’s Death so it’s quite fitting. And as a bonus his game over screen matches with the rhythmic taunting all Cuphead bosses seem to give. Excellent work again MORO!

if you think about it Cuphead cannot be beat at all! as in his game he is given the option to always retry after death making him immortal until he finally submits and doesnt't he can rewind time to a certain point which everytime he knows more and more about his opponents to the point where he will know exactly how to defeat them for good in this sense he cannot be beat!
