I don't get why people don't just do this themselves? Just get some black RIT dye powdered, boil water, dip the shells. The shells literally just pop off. It's permanent and looks factory.

i mean if they change the shape then technically its can be any sort of "improvement" its like having a controller/ fight stick or a custom accessibility program for a device to enable use of your already purchased product that you own. it does not affect current standing software nor is it promoting clones of said product
My wish for custom faceplates: something that lets the PS5 freaking sit flat without needing a dannumit mount thingy! lol
I would love the custom option for my game consule, can cost extra, buy later extra..whatever. it would be awesome and lots of others would agree. hell i've gotten advertisements for custom decorative plats to go above your computer's video card and I don't even have a glass case.
They literally made a god of war ps5 faceplate which is probably the true reason Sony is upset.
Getting my plates fabricated into metal then gonna gold plate em🙌🏽
