Hola Choombas!
Sorry about the hiatus these past weeks, I recently upgraded my equipment and have been working on other projects and plans for this channel’s future but more on those later but, for now, I will say expect higher quality content moving forward as I explore my other pop culture interests in addition to Cyberpunk 2077

It’s been about 90 days for me and, admittedly, I’m burned out when it comes to this Cyberpunk 2077 in it’s current state. This isn’t a review, it’s just me talking about what I love and what I feel has become difficult to ignore while playing Cyberpunk 2077.

  1. Just my thoughts on the game after 300+ hours.

Sorry about the hiatus, I've been preparing for some changes that will be coming to the channel. As stated in earlier videos, I've never wanted to fully dedicate this channel to just one game so expect me to cover other media going forward in a style similar to this as well as some on screen appearances. More on it later but expect more consistent and higher quality content moving forward. Thank you all, especially those who help the channel grow by liking and subscribing 🙂

  2. This is just my two cents at this point I feel like the only way to move on from this on Cd end and our sanity. They should cut their losses and move on. Hire an outside source to fix the mess while they make it up to us with a game on a smaller scale.

  3. You summed up my thoughts on the game nearly perfectly. A flawed game, but some aspects of it (design, soundtrack, voice acting) are so top notch that it was worth multiple playthroughs from me.

Unlike you, however, I don't hold much hope that patches and DLC will significantly enhance the experience. There are some fundamental story designs that can't be fixed with a patch and additional content. But I'm glad I had the opportunity to play it.

  4. I got about half way through the story and about 60% through the side content before I just stopped. The bugs got to me. And I'm playing on series x. The best of the console versions. Hopefully new patch will fix the issues.

  5. Great content. I feel the exact same way. I love the game. I’m not playing it too much right now because I really want them to update it more before I continue. Thanks for the content man I’m subscribing for sure

  6. The thing that disappointed me the most was the lifepaths. During my street kid playthrough I was like "Okay good story. Wonder what the corpo version would be like" Then when same montage played and loaded into the first mission I already had no want to replay it. Highly disappointed. If they fixed the bugs and poor optimization and added the cut content back into the game it still wouldn't change the fact that the dialogue, character and lifepaths mean shit

  7. I love CP2077 and have alot more hours than you-Handless. On pc there are many glitches, flaws and problems that crop up for me but they are not hard to correct to continue on. The consoles certainly suffer in playability. There are so many options that it never gets boring for me. I can rambo it, guns blazing, do swords/mantisblades, do netrunner quickhacks, do Hitman stealth play at long range w/ sniper from rooftops, sneak up and distractions with take downs up close and personal….the choices are many and varied.
The negatives are : they really push the main story line by constantly re-directing the yellow path to my next mission to a main story point after I set it to a side quest. So… the they make you miss the best part of the game, exploring and doing all the side stuff. Also if you aren't always saving you end up having to re start from a point quite far from where you died, you cant fully explore the play ground and try different approachs, etc.
The amount of information gathered by the youtube players is massive so you can hunt down the items needed to make your armor OP, gather perk shards to boost your early game skill tree needs, find weapons that are OP, get legendary quick hacks, and all the rest that make it something that you can choose to pick how you want to complete each problem presented. The story is great IMHO and not as depressing as say FC4, FC5, Bioshock, etc where after making the world a better place everything turns to crap at the end.
Games are either great entertainment or become an environment I dont care to immerse myself in, this one, I enjoy immersing myself in.

  8. I don’t have much to add as your feelings pretty much mirror my own. Right down to overusing hacking to end fights before they even begin. 😅
I’ve only started the game as Nomad and only did one ending (the Nomad one), a lot of time spent just exploring, reading notes, paying attention to the tiny details and oopsies (Devilery Point, eh? To this day I wonder if it’s deliberate).

  9. It's sad to say at this point I have logged well over a thousand hours on this game.up to the end I've done it all. there is so much I love about the core concept it keeps me playing even though the execution is so bad that in fact it is unplayable. I have logged over a thousand hours and I have only beat the game once. it was by committing suicide out of sheer frustration at the end of the game. Somehow after all the resets, broken quests and removed content it just felt like it was the cannon ending.

  10. I actually was one of the people upset they took out third person, but ended up getting the game anyway…. I've played it off and on, because nothing was really grabbing me at first. I eventually started using some mods, mostly so I can wear whatever clothes I want, change my appearance, and fixed the driving. So, I got further into the story to a scene that I'm not sure everyone gets with Johnny unless they say the right things. I ended up with a rant/monologue about anti-corpos/capitalism and how it's sucking the life out of people… it actually really got to me and made me kinda sad maybe not everyone will see it because it wasn't in one vid I watched of all the scenes with Keanu. I want to rewatch it, because it stuck with me.

  11. This is the best and accurate review I’ve seen of this game so far!! A lot of reviews I’ve seen are just hating on what the game actually provides from other people’s opinions and don’t play the game through and realise what it has to offer. Summed up my thoughts on it exactly. I love the game for the story, visuals and soundtrack but man there are some serious issues that just take you right out of the experience

  12. Hopefully the dlc gives us more to do, and hopefully by the 2030s there'll be another cyberpunk game that doesn't drop the ball. I love this universe and setting, I want a great game; hopefully the next one isn't rushed out
