Cyberpunk 2077 Benchmarks are out! Can your PC handle it? (Final version should have better fps)

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Tom’s Hardware has been requested to take down these graphs due to them being a prerelease version of the game that lacks bug fixes and performance updates with DRM that affects performance and no Day 0 driver update. So definitely expect better performance with the final release (although personally I wouldn’t expect it to have any miracles like doubling or anything). I mentioned in the video intro that this was the case, but at that time they had not had the take-down request.

  1. I have an Alienware R3 17 with a GTX970M and an i-7 6700HQ. I get 22-30 FPS on the lowest settings. Once I got to the city it was unplayable. Between the SEVERE graphical bugs and the low performance, I've decided to wait to play this game until they patch it.

  2. Eeerm sorry but 1080p medium settings (so really really low) on the newest and hottest GPUs on the market and you get 70-100 FPS?
This game is not optimized at all!!!!

  3. I'm playing CP2077 right now. I'm running an EVGA XC3 ULTRA GAMING 3080 and a 4790K with 16GB DDR3 1600 and the game is installed on my Samsung EVO 1TB SSD. I am having no problems at 1440p on HIGH/ULTRA mixed. I hold 60 fps minimally.

I should add I don't use DLSS yet. And this is not the 60GB version of the game everyone got on preview for reviewing. Mine is the full 70GB version (the pre-patch incorporated already) with the new nVidia driver that was released yesterday strictly FOR CP2077. Remember, this game was demo'd on a 7700K and a 1080Ti.

  4. DLSS settings for PC is a life saver, having the highest graphics possible I was running the game at around or below 10fps, UNTIL I turned on DLSS to either auto, quality, or balanced, this now boosted my frames to 40fps, highly recommend this setting being turned on, coz I can now run both reytracing on the “psycho” setting, AND same for every other settings being quite literally, the highest possible, and it looks AND runs fantastic !
