  1. About decals, if you're the type of person who would write your name on a wall with bullets or leave a bloody mess – keep that number low xD It's probably already being used throughout the map for dirt and to add variety to objects, but I'd still keep that setting low.

  2. Great video. You forgot to mention the MASSIVE fps boost from turning on DLSS. On the 'quality' setting, the visual impact was almost imperceptible but my fps went from 80 to 100. Definitely worth turning on in most cases.

  4. you have 3070? and your running on medium and low and your at 1920×1080? I have a rx 5600 xt and play at 1080p on the overall high preset and get 55-60fps 95% of the time. Are you just trying to get really high framerate? Because your PC could easily hit 60fps on higher settings than what you have.

  5. it doesnt help at all , it looks like you watched a bunch of youtube videos without doing any benchmarks yourself to actually show fps and quality difference , its only your opinion of what is looking good and what is not on a 3070 with dlss on …. who the fuck on this earth plays this game on medium/low settings on a 30 series ? if you want to really make in-depth optimization video, watch hardware unboxed red dead redemption 2 optimization and you might learn how to do it . Do you really play on those settings ?

  6. ugh…. you should really do some research if you are going to speak on graphical settings… you have a extremely basic understanding and that's really not enough to speak on what each setting is doing and because of that you are communicating misleading information.

  8. I have a MSI RTX 2070 and a Ryzen 7 3700x
Turning everything from high/ultra to low/medium I only saw about 5 extra FPS
RTX off I saw 30 extra FPS than when it was on.
For me at least RTX is the setting that's tanking FPS.
Everything else doesn't really change the performance that significate to justify such lower quality gameplay.

Will test on my asus gu502 gv laptop soon with I 7 9750 h with rtx 2060 haven’t upgraded the ram yet don’t want to mess with warranty but it’s at 16 gb last time I remeber using the GeForce experience it did run better than my desktop build where I can push more on the quality close to max for 1080 p without ray tracing was getting frames at the 60 s but I have to keep the laptop on battery saver mode or it will heat up also don’t forget to set your GeForce control panel settings in 3D settings to performance on the power and texture quality to performance I don’t do it on the laptop don’t want over heat it helps a lot on my desktop in case it helps anyone hope it helps peace guys 👊🏽

Also I did undervolt my gtx 1080 to -20 on power so the temps stay on the 70 mark but boost gpu boost and clock at +20 kept fans at 100%
