Todays’ mission is about bugs. The electronic kind. It’s also completely bugged. The other electronic kind.

  1. This game's key words we're "character customisation" and yet you can't actually custom nothing. This game is so hilariously bad that it's funny. Worst game released in 2020 by far. Tried it, refunded it and never going back to it. There are better games developed and published 5 year's ago that I'd rather play

  2. Jingles do you think the order list is a writing choice the game AI forcing you to follow their order and steps to mess with you mind? i get some doki doki literature club vibes from this one. Can you do this one before the meeting with the voodoo boys? that be a real mind brake if the AI spoke to you when your on the black net.

  3. Although cycling through objectives is useful I don’t think it helps in jingles case. That being said now you get to enjoy figuring out the location by yourself, say counting how many blocks to the transmitter and trying to remember that while navigating through traffic 😀

  4. Oboy.

My own feeling is that paranoia is a lot like medicine – controlled dosage at the right time can save your life. OTOH, there are all the other times, when you really don't want to be using meds whilst, for example, operating heavy machinery.

That, and Freud's line that "Sometimes, a cigar really is just a cigar". So maybe those vitamin pills really are just vitamin pills?

Or, conversely, maybe "they" prescribed those vitamins just to provoke this reaction from him. And R-O-U-N-D we go ….. 🙂

  5. It does appear they wanted you do to it in different ways. But they had to rush out by xmas to make shareholders happy and make $$$

P.S. I never played this game but enjoy Jingles playthrough and commentary

  6. I made the mistake of jumping up to the roof (I spotted the old dish) and ended up with the same error. Frankly I didn't take any where near the offense you seem to have. As for the second part I am always a level 20 netrunner stealth player with Legendary quick hacks by that quest and never once did I not get the reinforcements so I'm not sure what you did different to me. I too believe in the stealth contagion clean sweep. All I can think is that you got the trigger man who needs to find a body and activate the call (presumably the guy in the office you can't actually see).

As others have said The person who calls you – Mr Blue Eyes – is watching your conversation with Jefferson. There is also information on his and Elizabeth's ties to Night Corp and that they have been groomed since college by NC. I felt there was something there along with the Rogue AIs. Just remember Alt Cunningham is one of those Rogue AIs and this could very well be one of her gambits as well.

First time I went with my gut and told Jefferson everything and realised I'd ruined his life – I can imagine the next stage in his paranoia would be he murders his wife and daughter. So the next playthroughs I lie to him. Frankly there is nothing he can do unlike Lizzy Wizzy who you discover is in danger of a similar situation but that's another quest. Despite the result I always told Lizzy the truth.

  7. Let me guess. You were supposed to take the tour from the wife and discover the clues in order and not wander around aimlessly without a clue of what you are doing. Leave it to Jingles to fuck it up. Then you were also supposed to simply go in or sneak in instead of starting a silent slaughter. You know, sometimes, it's actually intelligent to do what the mission tells you to do and follow it normally. Would have saved yourself a shit ton of problems.

  8. Those bugged missions, just a bad gamemaster who can't deal with creative players. I recognized that immediatly. Now, a computergame that doesn't use full AI can only run canned scenario's. So the one who lined that mission out is to blame. Still, a jolly good show Jingles.

  9. This is why cyberpunk settings like Deus Ex always felt way too flimsy to me. You have people getting cybernetic enhancements and remote access software put in their bodies for…what exactly? Are they in the military? Police? Relying on their reflexes and physical capabilities to keep them alive? Are they a surgeon where perfect precision is key to success and saves lives? Then why in the fuck does apparently literally everybody, from beggars and gangbangers to politicians and street vendors get themselves upgraded and exposed to "side effects" like cyberpsychosis and (if they're important enough) literal mind control? The whole foundation of the universe these games paint is mighty shaky and it breaks all suspension of disbelief.

  10. 42:12 "There is a lot of online speculation as to who or what is behind this whole thing […]"'. I'd like to add DLC Inc. to the list, allegedly a very insidious Megacorp who sells additional game "content" like horse armor to its customers.

  11. so when are you gonna retry Star Citizen? (I recommend till after the 25th) you needed to call ATC in your mobi to get out of hangars. F11, friends, and it'll be at the top (only call when you're in your vehicle)
