The way this Build works is that you begin by activating the Big Sleep Daemon, neutralizing all cameras in the area so that you aren’t detected while you’re sneaking around. Then you use the Ping Quickhack to locate all enemies in the area, allowing you to determine who to pick off first. Work your way through the enemies, deciphering which to kill next as you move silently through them.

You should be able to kill every enemy with one bullet from your Pistol or Revolver if you are close enough, so make sure that you aren’t too far away. A lot of times enemies will become alerted that someone is there, but they will not know exactly where you are unless they can see you. So all you need to do is stay hidden and continue to pick them off one by one.

Contract Killer Tips
Range is an important factor this Build because your bullets will do less and less damage the further away you are from your target. For this reason you must get as close to the target as you feel comfortable in order to ensure you kill them, until you gain the Wild West Perk. You often have way more damage than is necessary with this Build, but Range affects it severely.

Be sure to use the Big Sleep Daemon before you begin moving into a group of enemies, picking them off. A lot of times it seems like there are no cameras around, but there is generally at least one that is hidden you might not see. Get in the habit of doing this every time, unless there are like 3 enemies, so that you don’t have to reload your game.

One of the biggest benefits of this Build is that you can use Quickhacks or your Pistol/Revolver, which leads to a hybrid style of playing. Not only can you shoot things fairly well, you can jam enemy weapons, or set them on fire, etc. You can even use some Quickhacks to disable them completely or to make them not hostile anymore so you can shoot them from Stealth. It can be a ton of fun.

If you are discovered and you get pulled out of Stealth, a lot of times you can just retreat and wait for the enemies to forget about you. It doesn’t always work, but it happens quite often that if they cannot find me very quickly they just go back to looking around slowly and I can start picking them off again. Always fire from Stealth when possible to gain the added damage from it.

Another great addition to this Build is the Iconic Sniper Rifle: Overwatch. This is given to you for helping Panam, and it carried me through almost the entire game. It has a silencer, so you can use it to pick off your target from far away without alerting other enemies.

Lastly, play around with different Revolvers and Pistols as there are a ton in the game to use, and they don’t all handle exactly the same. Some have more rounds per clip, and some fire slower or kick more. Try them all and find the one you like the most. You can always upgrade it if you do, and keep using it along the way.

  1. You show 20 INT 20 COOL, but then right after say that your stats should eventually be 20 REFLEX, 15 INT, 20 COOL? Was that just an old build where you changed your mind on the stat spread? Also, I don't know if it's just specific to Contagion (which is poison based), but the poison skills from the stealth tree do not work at all with that, so I wonder if they work with poison from a gun too.

  2. Level 50 here with some tips:
Armor does not work on hard level (I'm playing on hard I have no info on other settings). It does not matter how much you have you always got one or two shotted. So don't waste time or gear on it.
On armors the only thing matter is how much slot they have. Put Crit DMG and Crit Chance upgrades in them.

Carry capacity is tottaly a waste of perk. You have a car that you can call anywhere and dump your stuff in it. Also there is a vendor at every corner where you can sell. If none of these are available you can just disassemble them.

I put a lot of point in crafting. Does not worth it. If you want something out from it you have to sit there for hours and press left mouse button constantly. Since armor does nothing you the only thing worth it from it is to upgrade your weapons. Until they add sometype of bulk crafting in avoid it.

At this point of the game the enemy (even low levels) kill me in one or two hits. Same for them. I can kill anybody with one shot in head. Even without stealth or stealth perks. Quickhacks with high int became very OP late game. I can wipe out the whole building without ever being seen.

Since this was my first playthrough I had no idea to where to put my points. So I'm pretty much jack of all trades. I think I have 20on int, 14 on body and reflex. 16 or something on technical and 5 on cool. The best way is to spread them evenly. This way you will have access to most of the doors and conversations.

Putting anything in stealth is waste. Even without perks it is very easy to move around undetected. And crit damage form stealth does not needed. You can kill anyone with 1 shot either way.
I can kill the hardest cyberpsyhos with a few swing with a katana.

Most of the cybernetics are a waste of time and money. Matntis blade is waker than the katanas. Gorilla arm is only any good in the boxing misssions. I does not help with door or anything.
Monoblade same thing. You have stronger weapons that that. Projectile launcer. Just why? I have hundreds of grenades in my inventory that I can waste, but I never need them.
Healing and armor cybernetics are waste. There is one that damages the enemy when you got to 15% health. Waste of money. You will die in one or two shots. It will only trigger when you are dead.

Fun fact. The huge machine guns that you can rip of from turrets can be stored in your car's stash. You can bring it with you and use it later. I think after a save reaload they even get back to full ammo.

I think thats about it. Have fun.

  3. I don't get why everyone is wearing hideous outfits und choosing perks just increasing the damage / crit while playing on very high difficulty. I choose nice clothes and play only on hard. I guess the gameplay is the same, but I can also roleplay and not just think about stats
