Holy shi-… My dad had the full series of these roms when I was little, I used to watch my older brother play it all the time. It used to be his favorite game because he has the same first name as the main character.
Matt you should get the Dark Forces Trilogy by William C. Dietz, it will help explain that was going on in the opening. Such as the robot that Kyle went to. He was not working for him, he wanted help with information with a data disk. And originally The trilogy was part of the canon until Disney. Kyle is just not as well known as others due to the old games. You can also try the Dark Forces full cast audio dramas that were made based off of the books. They are called Solider for the Empire, Rebel Agent, and Jedi Knight.
