At the end of the day, it’s not enough to just make Cyberpunk 2077 the “game that it should have been.” It’s also about going further beyond, and getting back any goodwill that the company has lost.
Whether diehard fans will be there to give it another chance or a new spree of players will join in, praising the game for all of its changes and improvements, this won’t be the last we hear of Cyberpunk 2077 in the years to come.

I'm still enjoying the game even with some bugs and faulty AI. I think its a little better off than No Man's Sky was but yeah, still feels incomplete. Wonder if they will do like Ubisoft did and give out a free game with Unity crashed hard. Lol. I like how everyone is blaming the gaming company itself and it seems to me like the investors and stuff were pushing them to get it done before the holiday season and now sueing them because it didnt feel complete.. The game still has made a ton of money but just imagined if it was complete. Like I said, I'm still enjoying the game.
Why are we comparing Cyberpunk 2077 to No Man's Sky for?
They have nothing to with each other at all.
No Man's Sky is not good and Cyberpunk 2077 is awesome.
If CDPR decides to bring back the cut content via update then things could change drastically. Without the main story and side quest, Night City is empty and there is nothing to do. First CDPR has to fix technical faults then they can add those cut contents like wall climbing via mantis blade, trains and metro, hacking via nanowire, UI changes, Hare Krishna side story, Maxtac side story, interactive bars and restaurants, Vehicle and weapons skin and parts customization, Police bribe system and better intelligent AI, Transmodification, Visual Cyber enhancements, More accessible lootable buildings, Hairstyle and Tatoo customization, Mini games like Gwent or equivalent, more racing missions, more cars and interaction with Ciri. If CDPR can add all of these content back to the game then Cyberpunk 2077 will be a legendary game like Witcher 3 wild hunt.
I blame the console players dragging this game. Game runs great on my PC.
I'm Single 😍😥
Yes. People just bitch to bitch now adays. It’s updates will fix everything.
After getting death threats from people for delaying it then death threats when people got it. It CAN recover given time.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a huge disappointment and if they don't pull a No Mans Sky, it'll will always be a disappointment. It looks amazing, but its pretty bad.
Don't say last year. It still feels like 2020.
Does anybody on these review channels use quick hacks or stealth in this game? Every video shows the player going in like a tank and sucking down health boosters nonstop.
It will take them a year or more to pull NMS comeback
oh please, they'll be lucky to even pull a Marvel's Avengers
I'm 110 hours in on series x. Still have a couple things i want to do before i get to the point of no return in the main story. I'm simultaneously enjoying and disappointed by the game. I find it hard to believe that they'll make a major revamp by June (aa has been leaked by a supposed cdpr dev). There's just too many core elements that need improvement or are just plain missing.
I enjoyed the story of it. I'm not really annoyed by bad graphics, still play mostly old games
A supposed cdpr whistleblower said that hiring keanu as late as 2018 did them no favors. They basically had 2 years to write a story they for a game over 6 years in development at that point.
Add a SPOILER ALERT to the title, as this shows lots of end game content.
Lets hope, i put the game up until CD PR finishes making the game. Imagine if they waited til game was done? This game would have been masterpiece.
Rather than waiting for a miracle, everyone should have got their money back and sent a message to the gaming industry. 🤷🏾♂️
I really enjoyed it. However there are definitely lots of improvements to be made to the overall gameplay and also side missions.
I would say that the pyramid song mission is one of my most favourite missions, with its pacing and voice acting. But I feel there could have been more content with judy after this that doesnt materialise.
Also, weird that you can't customise your character post creation. In the same vein, it would be great to see cyberware mods being installed.
Be great to have the ability to hide helmets, and better gear stats across the board.
Looking forward to playing it again when the ps5 version comes out.
Thing is atleast for me is about the first experience i mean Cyberpunk is kinda fixed story and stuff unlike No man's sky which has different experience every new play. My first play for cyberpunk was on the base ps4 yes, i imagine it. But played and completed the game as to avoid getting spoiled.
I have to disagree with some things in this video. They can fix a fair amount of stuff like bugs and optimazation but do we really need police car chases or an interactive vendor shop system. In my opinion, they don't need to. There are some already great core elements present in the game like the main storyline, amazing dark side quests and a fun combat system. I would just like to see the technical state to be improved. People should learn to manage their expectations a bit. You can't expect Cyberpunk to be like a GTA or Red Dead Redemption. It's a vastly different genre of a game than those 2. The most disappointing aspect of the game has to be the life paths. If they can in some way expand on that then I will be already pretty happy.
Mehn everyone needs to just move on, it took 8 years to bring out what the game is today, what we should be looking at is at least years of patches to get this game to the vision… bottom line it's time to move on.
They need to rewrite the game using the Rockstar Rave engine. It will never run smoothly and realistically with the patched up Witcher engine. The Witcher 3 also had abysmal A.I.
The story for me is make or break in the game, bugs and everything else aside the main story disappointed me the most. We we promised a world that was alive but that certainly isn't the case. This doesn't feel like the same company that delivered almost perfect storytelling in the Witcher series. It still feels half done and that's not just the bugs.
I thought it was garbage the day it came out (have it on series x) I’ve really been enjoying it now that I’ve given it a second chance
I know there’s a great game here, if my game didn’t crash every hour, I’d be able to experience it.
They have 7 hot patches since launch. I put the game down on my PS5 due not wanting to play until the bugs were ironed out. As many media outlets have stated CDPR needs to address the following:
Major bugs to missions
IA on the police
General crash bugs
Once that is sorted ensure that the PS5 and Series X runs with two option perfectly, 60 FPS performance mode with RT like Miles Morales but also a 30 FPS 4K RT. You do that CDPR and they will have a massive second wave of new players especially with more PlayStation and Xbox next Gen consoles restocking.
Game needs better / Physics / A.I. / Interactive world / Bugs fix / TP View / …
I have no doubt that they can because like No Man's Sky, they don't have a choice in the matter. Personally I'm finding the game to be more enjoyable than Outer Worlds.
They either do that or lose their reputation.
I'm sticking with my decision to keep the game, and have faith in CDPROJEKT RED to fix the game. I haven't had too many issues with the Xbox One X.
It's stupid
Honestly I don't think it can, even if they fix the bugs and manage to add a semblance of basic features that are typical of the open-world genre (and it will take too much time, to the point where most gamers would've moved on to other games), the game still feels and is objectively unfinished. It's obvious they removed things and reduced the game's scope very much in the past year or so, it shifted from being an "immersive RPG" to just being an open-world action game, and not even a good one at that. The final product is mediocre (which is what they sold), a 5/10, and no matter what they do it it's not gonna make that much of a difference, they would almost have to start development from scratch again to make any meaningful and truly impactful chages and additions. These are different situations, different type of games with different budgets and aims. All they can and have to do now is damage control, what's done is done, you've thrown everything down the drain and they only have themselves to blame for what went down, not the actual programmers that wrote lines of code, just management in general, whomever controls the company and made the actual game design decisions. Let's just say this was a pretty tech-demo and nothing more. I'm definitely not gonna buy a game at day-one from them in the forseeable future, I'll either pirate it or wait for a cheap key on a shady site.
> Cyberpunk 2077 – Can It Pull A "No Man's Sky"?
No, what No Man's Sky is a miracle.
I will answer short : Anthem 🤣
They done the same shit as CDPR and they got resources to repair this mess but they feed stupid gamers with empty spromises when in the same time game directors leave Bioware one by one and lead designer to 🤣 – CDPR got the same future
You can't turn this type of game into a totally new game, and they won't. They will fix the bugs and add a little. A total revamp won't happen
Cyberpunk lives of its story and its sidequests. It's already a great game as it is, while No Man's Sky was (and for large part still is) boring at its core. I neither need nor want it to be transformed to a GTA. Just fix the bugs and maybe some balancing and I am happy.
Glitches aside I truly loved the 100+ hours I got out of it, and honestly it got less glitchy with each patch
doesn't need to, it's already a far better game at it's core that NMS. All it needs to do is not copy Bethesda.
Even though I like this game, I hope fans leverage this opportunity to get the game they want for the next Witcher. I bet CDPR is desperate to regain their most important competitive advantage… an overwhelmingly gamer friendly reputation. Chances are they won't listen, but they'd be smart to.
Dam dude this is why I tried my best to not fall into the hype. I'm sure it's still a good game but the outcoming seems underwhelming
