  1. Is good news but it sounds like business jargon to me. Of course they’re going to take blame but they’re going to be careful how they word that and what they imply from it. To me what happened with cyber punk it is obvious is night and day. All the evidence is just right there in front of you. All this talk about this was always the intention from the very beginning as a bunch of fucking bullshit. There’s too much evidence to show otherwise. But I get trying to cover your butt. I completely understand that kind of business move and I don’t fault him for making it. I’m glad for the roadmap which was to be expected but for me that doesn’t change a very important thing about this version of the game.

The intended version of cyber punk as a immersive RPG before they scrapped and cut all of that to make a Reeves/Johnny silverhand focused action adventure game, is what I want. Had they not had to completely change the direction of the game into a completely new thing mid summer of 2018 then they would’ve spent the remainder of those two years building on the progress that have been made as well as delivering on the RPG features we expected. If they are just fucking stayed on track, but leader ship got a celebrity involved and blew their fucking top at the idea of money to be made from that celebrity that we all love and we still all do love. But in doing so they made a completely different game than what they had been intending, directing, building towards, progressing towards with evidence, and that is in line with their previous projects.

I wanted to buy properties I wanted to customize my properties, I wanted to have interactions with characters continually through the world especially having some certain characters that you care about stay in the world in a persistent way which would typically be the romance options, even Witcher three had this aspect where even when you beat the main story if you continue to explore the world you would still run into characters to interact with one way or another and in their last expansion with blood and wine you could have your romance option at your house to just exist in the world which would’ve been something nice that they could build upon as far as interacting goes. But I’m sure this was the intention and some form or another especially with how they were talking about the game through the 48 minute demo. I wanted to have a robotic leg and one night and be able to customize my cybernetics with different physical features like sharp points that look like thorns on them or patterns or colors. I wanted a blood chrome cybernetic arm. I wanted to have a lower jaw that was chromed out with wolf things or some kind of sharp teeth pattern. I want to see myself in reflections. I wanted to be able to get tattoos or change the colors and the features of my cybernetic in a cosmetic way. I wanted the animations at the ripper dock so you can visually see your leg being taken off or legs or arm etc. I wanted customization for my guns and for the weapons and changing their luxe and appearance as well as for the vehicles. All of this shit was the intended direction that you could see and that was talked about in the 48 minute demo. Because it was a immersive RPG. When they got so fucking obsessed with celebrity shit they made a completely different game and they had to rush in a year and a half to do it so much so that they didn’t even have time to even add in basic fundamental RPG elements that are in their previous projects. They realize that even though originally it was being called a RPG they had to officially re-label it as a action adventure game. They knew that this wasn’t the same game anymore and now leader ship is saying that they’re taking the blame for everything while also trying to cover their butts and keep this kind of I think blatantly obvious information under wraps because the amount of blow back that would happen if they confirmed what I think we all can agree is very obvious that happened to this game where they had one version of it and then they scrapped it to make a different version which is the current version and in only a year and a half. Is this a good game? Sure . Is there a CDPR single player immersive RPG? No. It was going to be that which is clearly evident from what was revealed in the 48 minute demo progress wise as well as the story and intended direction that they talked about with where they were going. That information exist, they can try to lie about it and say that that was never the intention to begin with and we were going to do this the entire time but that’s a bunch of fucking bullshit. Because we have the evidence of them saying the exact opposite and showing the exact opposite in 2018 before they got the celebrity. Of all the cities in the world and times with body modification and cyber wear, this game should’ve been groundbreaking in terms of customization features. I mean Ridiculously nuts. If you think GTA online has customization or any previous RPG has customization, this setting with this city allows for customization that is just stupid, like saints row ridiculousness. Even the clothing where you have these animalistic features and people getting fucking tails put on their rear ends to look more like a cheater because there’s some corporate neo kitch shit. It’s not like this stuff isn’t in the game already. I mean you have the animations for the ripper docs, you see the NPC’s walking around who have tan white bodies and dresses with silicone chrome purple heads and ponytails or red chrome bottom jaw mohawk looking chicks with pointy legs and no feet. I mean this shit is in the world. And then to not have characters to interact with in a persistent way that even their previous projects did because they know that when you’re exploring an environment you don’t wanna do it in the void of space with no one to interact with. You have to keep characters in the world one way or another so that the world feels fucking alive. It’s just common sense shit man. To me it’s just so obvious what happened. You have two different games are being made. One was an RPG before they got reeves involved, the other Was a action adventure game after they got reeves involved and they only had a year and a half to put it together. Just fucking sucks man

  2. What happened to this YouTube channel?? I hope the game gets back on its feet but honestly I think CDPR’s damage has been done and they won’t live this game down for a very long time. Might also bring this channel back to life as well.

  3. I'm in it for the long haul. My series x runs this game smooth. Ya a few bugs here and there but nothing I can't deal with. People need to quit acting like this is the worse game ever. I remember fallout 76 was given away for free. Just hang in there.

  4. They should have just said that now is not the time for division, the gaming community needs to come together in unity so they can begin the healing process. They have learned from their mistakes and it wont happen again.

  5. I hope CDPR upper management issued an apology to all the workers who told them the game wasn't ready.

We all know there must have been so many discussions about what features to cut, what shortcuts to take to hit some goal that had nothing to do with game quality, only with pressure to appease investors/bankers etc.
    And now, everyone is unhappy.
Players didn't get what they should have, the gave devs look half incompetent, and the investors lost a large chunk of stock value. All because of arbitrary deadlines.
I've got a decent computer, so I had no performance issues other than the same bugs and glitches most folks see…but you can tell this was rushed out the door for the holiday 2020 season.

The game needed another year in the oven.

  6. I hope they have a bounty system in the multiplayer that you get bounties put on you by each faction based on how many missions you’ve done. This gives other players the ability to play as simply bounty hunters. The longer you go without dying to another player, the higher your bounty climbs until you are expensive enough to warrant killing.

  8. I'm in it for the long haul, if the game is this fun while in a broken condition I can only imagine what it will be at its glory days. Gonna be one of the best games in history when the smoke clears. I genuinely believe that lol

  9. Man, i really want CDPR to succeed. Despite all the stuff that happened with Cyberpunk's launch, they're one of those companies that are proving that they're different from the rest. I'm optimistic and here for the ride!

  10. They were sabotaged as well by Sony and Microsoft because both had major memory allocation updates the week before. Most people haven't figured that out. I was working with a publisher on a game around release time and the updates pushed back their release 2 months.

  11. Despite the issues this game has (even on PC), I really am enjoying it. My main complaint is that on mid-tier PCs, hair and textures are grainy and pixelated, but I’m sure that is something that will eventually be fixed. Cyberpunk is a very fun game, it just was released with a lot of issues that definitely need to be ironed out.

I know there are people complaining about features that were or were not included in the game, but I’m ignoring all of that so that I can enjoy the game for what it currently is.

  12. I'd like to get the multiplayer. The main story is to dark and straight lined no matter what role you play with only 4 or less outcome. I thought when this came out I'll be able to do my own stuff and join a gang I'd be interested in and not play/act as someone with a freaking ticking time bomb in their head due to story reasons. No point on playing the game when the choices are obvious and repetitive…

  13. I am a PC gamer. I don't care about consoles. Based on my experience, I still support, trust and believe in CDPR. Previous console gamers have a right to complain, but over half of the sales were on PC, so the amount of bashing is uncalled for. YouTubers have to make money, I suppose, and bashing CP2077 and CDPR seems lucrative at the moment for them, even if it's not deserved.

  14. Seems like a lot of time went into trying to get it to run on consoles and that's why we have an unfinished product. The investors wanted that console Christmas 💰.

  15. I'm on PC and Cyberpunk 2077 is fantastic, 140hrs in and still exploring more. I really don't mind waiting for the updates and dlc's. The computer has only crashed twice since December 10. Well done to CDproject Red AAA

  16. People keep on talking about the multiplayer, but we heard in 2020 that they hadn't even started to think about any multiplayer yet. We still do not even know what their plan for a multiplayer Cyberpunk is. It could very well be an independent release rather than an 'add-on' for all we know.

  18. Something about this release has me put off. If you look at the road map, it literally tells us nothing useful or even anything we did not already know. And if you distill the rest of the release down to its essence; it is basically saying "Sometime in the next ten days you get an update, and then don't expect anything for a WHILE." The phrase "In the following weeks" could means legitimately months.
