Cyberpunk 2077 hasn’t had the smoothest launch, especially on the PS4 and Xbox One. CD Projekt Red has now admitted they deceived people on these versions of the game, is offering refunds, and horrible justification with the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC versions.

  1. They stopped working on last gen when they got the dev kits for the ps5/xsx, you can tell. but why would they do that ? what if Rockstar did this with GTA5 and screwed the ps3/360 versions to work on the ps4/xbox one versions? we would have never allowed it.

  2. What makes this all the worse is the good will CDPR built up with games like Witcher 3. When I bought it, it was at the recommendation of my local GameStop manager. I would go in enough Ken and I got to know each other very well, at least in gaming terms, and he never really lead me astray. So I bought it and before I even put the game in my PS4, seeing all the cool stuff packaged with the disk, I had to show my brother, who was so impressed with it that after that initial play session, I practically never saw my game again. It was right at the time when enough time had passed that companies had stopped putting those kinds of things in the game case that getting it again was super cool. It's almost a cherished memory for me, and I hate how this Cyberpunk issue has tainted it.

  3. I think that the heads of cdpr released it banking on most people to buy next gen but with scalpers limiting access to next gen the game was stuck on the old gen systems while being such a huge lively world… but I will admit the game should have had another month or 2 to iron out the game… I mainly blame scalping

  4. This proves that they only developed the game for PC and then started "optimizing it" (downgrading it) for consoles really late, as an afterthought. It's happened before in other games but I don't remember to such an extent. Of course the newer consoles would work better in this case, the Digital Foundry comparisons seem to indicate they're probably brute-forcing their way through the messy code.

  5. So a company lied about a game. What else is new? Why do you keep in slip ups? If you're not showing your face there is no reason to keep in mistakes. Just edit them out. That's what I do. The likes is above dislikes on that video. I'm just going to ignore the game since I don't like FPS games.

  6. Hey man you channelled my exact thoughts on this video. I watched your other too and that was spot on. CDPR now stands for Corrupt Developer Provokes Retaliation lol πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜
I pre-ordered back in Feb adn cancelled after the second delay and now won't play it until it's praised by reviewers. This has been a corrupt launch with facts being hidden and reviewers only allowed to play parts of the game. It looks a bad PS3 game at this stage on consoles. To rely on next gen consoles to even make it run half decent is a terrible decision by a gaming company supposedly out for fans. Terrible. Like you said this is their flagship, their only game. What else were they doing all of these years? Why and why and why! Everyone who has this game currently should get a refund automatically and then can see if they want to buy it again patched properly. I cannot stand these companies making millions from hype and ripping off the consumer. Especially as most gamers don't earn lots. Bad CDPR, bad.

  7. Look. They made Wither 3, FOR THE SWITCH!! They know how to optimise, and make games playable on anything.
Give it time. CDPR could simulate The Matrix on a snes, if they wanted to.

They just couldn't delay it, again again again….
