  1. You were doing so well, relatively – and then ya disable the ratio and make absurd and pointless observations right at the end. So close! Ah well, better luck next time.

  2. The fact that you say you can't put the game down still has me in that excitement mode for the game. Yes it has its flaws & your not overlooking them but the sure enjoyment of exploring Night City is at the top. It's like somone only being told that if you go to NYC your gonna be robbed every chance you get. Yes you could be in certain areas but the core of NYC is dope & most likely won't experience that. NYC is just too dope of a city to not go to cause somone is afraid to go there.

  3. Is there a UI way to turn off all those damage numbers? It seems weirdly immersion breaking to give looter shooter numbers when you're trying to embody a character.

  4. Disappointing. Why end the review so open ended. Tell us what you really think. That would be helpful to the target market and developers. Don't worry about offending consumers.

  5. So many upset gamer chuds in the comments whining they can’t see the like/dislike ratio or demand a score when it’s not a review video. This is what gaming has come to folks; ratings and raitios.

  6. Do any of you even already finished the whole game with one path?!? So far, besides a few random bugs noticed and the braindance which is not what I expected I wouldn't say C2077 is GOTY but the story and interactions are worth experiencing… let's talk about it in a month after everyone truly tested it fr.

  7. I just really wish the opinion part of the opinion piece weren't in the headline, I'm trying to avoid other folks opinions on the game so as to not inform my own but then i read a headline and there it is. I don't usually comment or thumbs up or down videos but i am this one without even watching it.

  8. Glad there isn't a score. Imagine having to listen and actually THINK about what was said to form an opinion. Not distilling something down to a number so you can praise it or rage against it. Good on you Kotaku. Secretly we all know there are people waiting in the wings just licking their chops eager to be angry about someone giving this a less than perfect score. lol.

  9. This impressions video is a way more complete critique of the game, compared to the Gamespot full review in which the reviewer spends a great amount of time speaking about an in-game fictional poster advertisement while not even trying some of the core mechanics of the game, calling it a review is pretty laughable to me.
