Cyberpunk 2077 Graphics Comparison: PS5 vs. PS4 (Patch 1.02)

Cyberpunk 2077 released on almost every major platform on December 10th, but it seems that depending on which console you’re playing on, your mileage will vary in terms of both performance and visual fidelity. Here is a side-by-side comparison of the PlayStation 4 version of the game, running on a base model PS4 next to a PlayStation 5.

  1. The fact that they pushed this game to drop this month is kind of fishy, it could be that they very well knew the issues that were plaguing the PS4 an Xbox one so they pushed forward towards next gen to soften the blow. and the fact that most of the gameplay that was Shown was on PC. Metacritic didn't allow reviews for any of the console versions within the first 24 hours of release which is another red flag

  2. Damn that’s wack for the last gen people. I play on my ps5 and I haven’t experienced any crashes nor glitches. I’m going to try on my PS4 pro and see if it will crash.

  3. its not only a graphics things, police spawn at whatever location crime is committed and despawn if you walk into a shop, no driving ai, clothing have attributes attached to them, but no transmog, weapon crafting is made meaningless cause you always will find better loot on the next mission, etc etc…

  4. I have this on base Xbox One. Just received my PlayStation 5 Console today… Might continue playing on xbox and buy the PlayStation version when the next gen update comes out next year… Unless anyone here has played on it ps5? Can you tell me it’s worth buying again now on PlayStation or should I stick to my gut and wait?
