  1. For all those who expected some magic game changing story event, no game does that, like ever. Witcher 3 choices are basically all illusion, GTA and RDR2 have almost no choices, etc. Of course the story is linear, like if there was 50 paths, then each of these paths would last like half an hour. In the end, it most converge to a couple similar stories, otherwise content is spread to thin. Even Telltale games all end up the same. If someone knows a good voice acted 3D game where every little choice change the story, tell me, because I've looked up and there aren't any.

  2. The "press detenator" should have changed the entire story. Opened a path where you join Kang Tao. Then you go to Beijing, start an entire new map where you fight Arasaka with Kang Tao. Of course, every choice in the game should also open a new map and campaign. Like when you choose what to say when you toast with Jackie should open the possibility to go to Dubai, in the irridiated wasteland and discover the forgotten tech hidden underneath the sands. Of course, each of these new maps and campaigns would also have paths that would lead to dozens of new endings and millions of new characters. Of course, the entire solar system should also be playable, with space travel available, base building, ship designing and more.
That's basically what people expected from the game lol. It will never happen until AI's can make games that just adapt themselves, it's not happening until decades from now.
