  1. Ok, I was excited for the first few minutes.
As a heavy moding enthusiast, I believe Bethesda style moding kit is the only thing that can save this game.

But then I thought, hey, it's still the same guys who promised us next gen open world rpg, and the same guys who claim that game run smoothly on consoles.

And this "modders will be able to create their own new quests" may change to "modders are able to add few additional colors to jeans shorts" at tools release day.

So, I will not believe until they actually release this tools.

And as far I know, they already promised decent modding tools for Witcher 3 long time ago, and it never happened.

  2. So they want modders to add content to the game, because the game won't be getting much content until next year. That's a double edged sword. On one hand we get new content while on the other hand relying on your community to make new stuff for you game while you fix it seems a little sus.

  3. I hope this stops the unnecessary lawsuits and people thinking they can take 10% of their income cause the guys who did those lawsuits and came up with the idea to take 10% of income are just mad hoes

  4. really hoping they give console players access to these mods, similar to how bethesda handled skyrim and fallout 4. not everyone has the money for a high-performance gaming pc. of course, i wasn't a fan of PS not allowing third party assets on their platform, so hopefully we dont see that again. i do find it a little shady that cdpr is basically getting modders to fix their game for them, but it's still a step towards a more enjoyable cyberpunk so i guess we'll take what we can get

  5. This is awesome news! More game content then! I don’t mind at all to bd honest. I feel that modders listen more than the developers! Hopefully we get more character content (i.e. Judy 😍 and Panam)

  6. I'm glad they encourage mod creators, but this should not be their priority, is not fair for people who purchased a full price game in other platforms to give them a incomplete game with no intention to add the content they promised. They should be adding that content through official free expansions for consoles and stadia also (I know old Gen consoles may have their limits tho)

  7. That better include console too. If not, then CDPR will be worse than Bethesda. Pathetic that modders have to fix the game for them like Skyrim and the unofficial patch mod. Devs have gotten so lazy. The tech may be better, but notice all of the broken games that keep coming out. Even AAAs barely work. Ghost Recon, Anthem… The more hype. The more broken. Meanwhile little gems that don't get enough attention work flawlessly. Plaque Tale, Control, Greedfall. Barely a glitch in any of them.

  8. i mean one side good cuase a lot of stuff modders implement is sometimes so above level and quality it honestly doubles value of game, but come on on the other side i really hope its not an easy excuse for CDPR to not deliver on their own promises. First step fix the damn game, second step actually implement all the shit the Demo play showed and not as DLC this was supposed to be in the base game at launch/ Third step, all the cut content, like customizable cars, buying your own cribs, hundreds of missing building interiors, customization, the underground, and so much more should be re added. step 4, then you can release the DLC/s. Step 5 now modders can contribute with contetn to "enhance" gameplay and not fix the game, like a vast majority of them currently do, and if they do fix gameplay or game mechanics or bugs, or basically are a moddders version of a CDPR promised feature, they damn well sure should be paid by CD for basically fixing a game they paid for.

  9. so basically companies will just release unfinished games, check in their money, and let the modd comunity finish the game… great. stupidity 2.0, this industry sux more and more every passing year
