I'm playing on a 970 and besides the obviously worse graphics the pop in I'm assuming is pretty similar. Also I feel like I've had less bugs than other people are reporting. Just a few floating cigs.

CDPR couldn't win this one. Release later to fix the bugs, people would complain about delays. Release it sooner with bugs and people will still get mad. Pick one or the other people, you can't always have both. Release early or release later with fewer bugs. Personally, bugs, don't bother me too much if it means I can get a game a little sooner. I don't plan on playing CP2077 for a while though, but when I do, I"ll get the benefits of the bug fixes.
If you're having texture pop in issues on PC you need to buy a M.2 ssd/pcie 4 (3) and you wont have any texture pop in issues. Before anyone starts talking about "I shouldnt have to blah blah blah" you will need one for all next gen games. Anthem is a great example of the necessity of a M.2 ssd. if you had one load times were basically zero and you didnt have any pop in issues, but if you were on a HDD you were having 5 minute load times. Basically in the near future fast access storage will be necessary.
i have no troubles whit 1060 and HD, to time is no better monitor+grafic card in budget, that take nothing from quest, and gameplay. Can be RTX beutifull, but playing the game is possible.
Guys! you forgot to mention that the game was originally made for the ps4 and xbox one base consoles.. it was marketed at that in 2018, im fortunate to own it on PC but its inexcusable that people that own those versions have been screwed hard and then having people tell them they shouldn't have got it on those consoles is insult to injury.
Good podcast , im playing on a 7 year old base PS4 , the game is great , but i get a bug an hour . However it isnt any worse than every Bethesda release from the past 20 years trust me i seen them all. Dont buy it for now wait for a few months you will be fine im OK with my purchase but i feel like they manipulated us by not having full reviews on every platform . Its interesting, the games are 90% grafik, and some other staff today…. if look good most the people like it… face, light, animation…. not a bit over game AI, story maybe, probaly sound 5%…. not real thing handling by AC you have 4 or 5 funkcion on 1 button… to have succes made a game over samurai or viking titled for soul like, made a perfect grafik and you have the game of the year… probably a bit sound effect made it better shelled…
I am still on win 7 pro and they don't even have a full-screen option the only way to play it full screen is in 4k and my 1080 ti PC cannot handle it I am getting 14 – 20 fps on low settings. and it crashes on the map or just for no reason at all. obviously will have to upgrade to win 10 which I will do but there is no way I can upgrade to a 2080 or a 3060 as they are around £800 if you can get one. I have thought about this a lot and my conclusion is their game engine is not up to the job and they knew that halfway through development but would not accept that and kept trying to make it do the job and it could not do it, 8 years it took to make this with massive delays, to me shows they spent a lot of time trying to make it work. this is a fantastic game and the world and the NPCs are believable but the performance is terrible. the head of CPR promised it was well optimized for lower-end systems and he lied, that or this is what it's like optimized if that's the case millions of people will not be able to play this game, so for once, I am hoping he was lying and it can be optimized giving people like me without a top-end system a chance to play it. they should have used unreal 4. I am not angry I am very sad. the game is broken and so is CPR.
Judging by other developer's behavior in the past I was expecting that all the hype would lead to some sort of a shit show. Fortunately I can wait a year and a half and hopefully I'll get yo buy a bug free version of the game at a discount as-well.

Don't play Warframe, it's pretty much a mobile game. I wasted a lot of time in there and it was becasue of addictive gameplay loops, unnecessary time gates etc. Everything that can be monetized is monetized.
I wanted Disco Elysium last year and I still want to have the experience of a strong Western RPG. I'm glad it's coming for NSwitch. I hope it will be released as a physical game.
If you want a more polished games, then you need to reduced pure business folk's influence on the projects. The most likely culprit for this buggy mess are the business folks, and not the developing team who probably warned them about the likelihoodof this happening. However, it's easier said then done, once business suits smell money they are like flies found raw meat you can't get rid of them.

Upon further reflection, it was a beautiful half-baked bug-filled scam. They most certainly didn’t deliver on many of their promises.
