Anders Hellman, the creator of the Relic chip, is attempting to defect from Arasaka to the rival Kang Tao corporation, which means we have a slim chance of grabbing him. Whether or not he’s actually going to be useful if we’re successful is an entirely different matter.

  1. External turret turn off, that looks like the surviving crew bodged activating the turret because the internal controls were fried but they had a shielded laptop that was maybe turned off at the time the pulse hit. It clearly isn't a permenant feature of the AV.

    Jingles underthink in action πŸ™‚

  2. Looking at the panel and how it's connected to the AV, it looks like the response team patched in an external control system to the rocket launchers. Probably as a replacement to the on-board systems that got cooked by the AV, to help secure the site.

  3. Jingles While I know that most folks agree that the best part of Pan AM is here backside, I'm among the smaller circle who's thoughts go more like "screw the booty i want in on that gorgus Nomad pickup truck she has!"

  4. Wait a minute. That convo between V and Johnny at the end was word-for-word the same convo they had after offing the Voodoo Boys. They just copy-pasted the exact same dialogue later in the story. That's so cheap.

  5. The fact that you have to jack into that turret instead of just, you know… operating it feels like a prime example of the Cyberpunk setting making things All Cybery 'N Stuff for no real reason. It's not like it's inconveniently far away from where you were sitting anyway. πŸ™‚

It took me a minute to remember what the robot's repeated shouting reminded me of, but I finally got there: PRISONER ZERO WILL VACATE THE HUMAN RESIDENCE OR THE HUMAN RESIDENCE WILL BE INCINERATED!

  6. So, in short, this whole mission with Hellman, Panam's botched hijacking, the Altocado nomads who died because of, let's be honest, her, in the end basically everything in this episode… was entirely pointless?
