Since it doesn’t appear until you install Arasaka biochip, it’s most likely for Johnny and is probably something like Charisma.
It could also be for that spider looking mech thing you get before the heist as that was meant to be a companion you would keep but they cut it.
If you're right about it being Johnny, then it's glitched or removed because it wasn't finished be the time of release. Tho, perhaps the ability is related to Johnny coming BACK in a future DLC?
More proof that this game was not only filled with glitches and bugs, but incomplete, and they knew it, but pushed it out the door anyways in time for Christmas.

I think it's for drones . 3 types of drones each attribute has 3 skills and that would be pretty cool I could see them holding that back for dlc .
I think its something similar to Witcher we will get expanded abilities in DLC

What If you have to have a free attribute point and be glitching out then try using it on that missing attribute. lol
With everyone's speculation it being silverhand skill tree, i think that the more you put points into the skill tree, the more perks you unlock being like johnny and would affect your ending. But since the ending is based purely on how you finish your main quest, it becomes redundant.
I believe it was for the techie class. A skill tree develop for different companions, that would be awesome

I wish they would "cut" the game crashing from PS5/Series X versions
It could just be a DLC related upgrade. Where you can upgrade the skill tree to stabilize the chip by integrating better with Johnny's psyche. Panama does say on the positive ending after you drive away that they will do anything they have to in order to find a fix. So it could be them upgrading the chip.
Bet it's for online when that comes

I think 6th skill tree represent Johnny Silverhand and it does make sense and also could be dlc too as don't think Johnny is gone.
0:57 its also there before the heist but is blank and dosnt glitch out when you hover over it.
2:28 ok it was definitely there on my game (pc) when i started it the day after launch? i can only assume this was a bug as it was just a blank red tab that did nothing, maybe it wasn't meant to be there?

Remember the chip is corrupted so it might be a currupted skill tree on the chip
In the 48 minute demo from 2018, you can see there was a sixth skill called "constitution" which was cut and that's probably why that space is missing.
To be honest, won't be surprised if this 6th skill tree will be included in the next DLC with some sort of level cap increase.
I think that will be integrated into a dlc, as would be having 100% friendship with Johnny Silver, that be cool
