  1. There should have been more of Jackie in the first place, now I just don't care about the game anymore, so dissapointed I am. It hurts me even more as (former) CDPR fanboy, they completely lost my trust and interest. I'm honestly afraid about future Witcher game after this trash.

  2. I still think it was worth every penny of the $60 I paid Microsoft on Xbox series s. If Microsoft drops the price down to $30 will I get a refund for the other 30 I spent 2 days ago?

  3. No cdpr would not go the ghost direction for the simple fact that they already addressed this in the game. Jackie was not a full brain upload, you get to speak to Jackie again as a ghost and he starts repeating his same lines from earlier in the game because he was dead when he was uploaded

  4. I am willing to bet that the majority of people talking shit about CP2077 in these comments are console players. I have been having a blast and it still has over 3x the players of RDR2 on steam (and that is with the fact it has no multiplayer component. There were dumb ass mistakes made, the game is still a great game. But I put the blame on BOTH the management AND DEVELOPERS. They had over 7 years to build this game. Personally, I don't trust anything Jason Schreirer puts out, he is a shill, a 2 bit edge lord who thinks he is a journalist. If the majority of your sources are "anonymous" then usually it is bullshit. I will give them the time to fix it, I look forward to the level editor that is coming out to make my own content, and the mod community is in overdrive for this game which is awesome.

  5. I’d love to have some more Jackie content. I get that his death was supposed to be an emotional moment, but personally, I, as the player, didn’t spend enough time with him for his death to be super impactful. Two gigs and then the heist just isn’t enough time to really get involved with him.

  6. I despise prequels. I already know how it all ends. I understand the “journey” argument, but no, CP77 is about the future, please don’t bring us closer to the present. And how would that fit in with our character V, if they only just met. No, please please please no prequels.

  7. Everyone keeps saying how terrible this game is on PS4, but I' m not having terrible issues. I had one crash early on but that's it. As far as graphics go I was expecting what I have but even still I'm loving the game on PS4!

  8. Honestly what I think they should do is update early game stuff to include Jackie joining you on missions, driving the two of you around in between certain missions and being there. There gets a point where he is unavailable for most of the mission… Or they could make it so if certain choices are made during the heist he can survive and help you mid game with side missions and some other content, but then die later on after the "point of no return" section of the game. It doesn't have to be post-Jackie content, imo. They could add more of him into what is already there.

  9. Dlc will probably be a braindance, seeing night city through Jack's eyes, imagine being in a tutorial where you beat jackys dad for the abuse of him and mom. Likely ends where he dies, lots of time skip, exploring would be as you but he put that chip in his head too so many he is in there or at least his memorys?

  10. If I don't see more content out of characters such as Jackie Welles and Meredith Stout, I'm gonna be peeved. But I love the game and probably won't stop playing it for a long time. (even on my 7 year old xbox one lol)

  11. SO much potential was wasted on Jackie, Evelyn, and Adam Smasher. Seriously, I completely forgot about that robo monster dude until the last segment of the story where he literally came out of nowhere and had to defeat him. Who is he, what is he, why does he side with Arasaka, what bone does he have against Johnny, NOTHING aside from his sadistic personality and augmented body.

  12. Yeah that would make the replayability much higher if they put in the 6 months montage with Jackie Well's, meeting Mama Well's & the Valentino's & doing Job's for fixer's to move up until you get the street cred to work for the heist..

  13. They dropped the price because the people that own it already have slowed on playing the game beat it once or twice and waiting for patches and dlc now so they are try to pull more people in I'm thinking around 5mill more copys now so puts it around 18mill totally not bad…just a business dission to take in the last few Eddie's

  14. Alternate universe instead of Jackie taking the soul killer chip out before he dies he forgets about it while talking to you and when he dies the soul killer brings him back… DLC idea hmmm 🤔

  15. I'm personally kind of torn on the game. I haven't really been having a lot of glitches yet (on PC), and I like the gameplay for the most part, but something about it just seems… Rough?
One thing that comes to mind is some of the dialogs don't make any sense based on the events up to that point. Like when I first met Viktor, I told him I had met with Dex and gotten a job, even though you meet Vik before ever meeting Dex. Then there was the instance where I went to meet Evelyn for the first time and did the braindance, and when T-Bug joined in, she automatically knew what I was looking for and all the information I'd need, and that the flathead would be required to take security offline. I hadn't discussed the job with her or Jackie at all, so she wouldn't have known about the flathead or the fact I was tasked with finding the Relic, yet she talked about it like she already had all that knowledge. It's like they forgot the order of events when they were writing the quests and dialogs or something. Very bizarre.
Then there's the issue with my keybinds not always sticking. I'll load up a save file and the keybinds are back to default, even though in the menu they're still showing as what I manually changed them to. So I have to click to reset them to default, and then rebind them how I want. (I'm personally not upset about certain keybinds being locked, like F for interact, though it does seem weird.)
Another strange thing is how going down stairs, sometimes just down any slope, they'll pick up speed as if they're sliding uncontrollably down a hill of ice or something, and you can't stop until you hit flat, horizontal ground.
Anyway, my point is that there are good things about it that I'm enjoying, but it definitely seems like parts of it were pieced together in a hurry, which isn't good. I know they plan to work out some of the glitches and bugs, but some of the problems are much more part of the foundation, which would be much harder to fix (like the incongruity of the story events/dialog I mentioned before.)
Honest opinion is…I wish I'd waited 'til it drops in price. I like it for what it is, and am able to enjoy it (hoping they fix the bugs, of course,) but it doesn't feel like a $60 game experience. It feels like a game made by a fledgling studio, truth be told (art aside…the art and assets in the game are undeniably fantastic,) one that would feel appropriate at a $30-40 price point.
