This was not a game I considered possible for a no-damage playthrough, what with the hitscan weapons and all! The unskippability of lots of the segments I imagined was going to be a big turn-off for runners. I hope this Carcy continues this series! I adore this format.

Feels like they wanted to rush you into Night City and worse they really rushed your bonding with Jackie. I wanted to feel bad for him and his death but the relationship wasn't build up right. Also V is a semi-horribly written character. I can't connect with them. They seem to be chronically bitter, or emotionally disenfranchised, if that makes sense. They show Jackie having a life and fun. You don't see that for V. It would have gone a long way to show V enjoying Night city.
I will say this. Female V makes the dialog much more tolerable.
