Welcome to my Cyberpunk 2077 review! Is it worth playing? In my opinion you should wait – there is a lot that needs fixing with Cyberpunk 2077 and a lot that could just be improved. Wait maybe 1-2 years and most of these issues should be fixed, the DLC will be out and you’ll be able to buy the game on sale – a much better proposition than buying into it now. There were some parts I liked though. The dialogue and voice acting were excellent!

  1. There is a 100k perk respec "not skill" called tabula e-rasa in the trade tab from ripper docs that takes awhile to afford but can save from doing a new playthrough also. 🙂

  2. I would have to disagree with you on the voice acting, V’s male actor sounds like he’s trying too hard and his delivery is one note compared to most of the other cast, and Keanu, well, he tried

  3. That whole pick your role thing is a poor decision, in my opinion. Reason being, if you don't know about the expensive reset you can get in game, you might well never want to do another playthrough. The player should be able to be more well rounded, more utilitarian, until they see where they want to go in game. I have seen folks spec into the wrong (for them) skill set, only to come to hate the game because of it. (Too boring, too complex, too frustrating, too easy, too intense, etc.) They put down the game after grinding through it with a very "I don't give a damn if I never see this bloody game again" attitude.

  4. Thanks for this. I was looking a lot of reviews and playthroughs and all the time I was thinking: It looks amazing but… do I really want to play this? A good game setup is so much more than a nice painting and fancy music. I think they have been on the path to give a really good immersion which could be sometimes enough to play a game. But they break the immersion on every corner. So, nothing left. I gonna wait at least two years with that, exactly as you recommended.

  5. Glad I don't generally pre-order stuff. I hope CDPR is able to make this the game it was supposed to be, and don't just shove it in the drawer after six months.

  6. yeah I was seriously looking forward to this game, like I absolutely loved the Blade Runner films, both of them, or the Deus Ex games so now I am pretty disappointed… my friend played the game said how horrendous it is when he played it literally right after the release, so I went and checked a few vids reviews and whatnot so yeah I am truly disappointed… but the worst thing about all this is, the game even when after they fix all the bugs and glitches and all the problems are fixed (which honestly I think is nearly impossible just because of the sheer amount of stuff to fix) the game would still be poor when you consider game design, and guess why? it was clearly meant to be cooking for at least another year and a half, so this premature release due to the sheer hype train behind the game (and also the interference of greedy investors who wanted the game to be released early caring about the money they can make due to the sheer hype this game was getting, and not actually caring about us gamers)… just looking at the fact that that role you choose in the beginning actually influence your story only in the first two hours of the game and after that it has no difference whatsoever or just the skills and respecing, just the whole picture says it still wasn't cooked enough, and that is sooo much more disappointing especially when you considering what the game was actually supposed to be compared to what we get… I actually feel this is also the issue that happened with the Mafia II game, which had also a lot of unused potential bcs of the same greediness of investors trying to flog more copies off of hype and release the game prematurely before it reached its full potential… for full context I am Czech and because the franchise actually originated here it is a big deal in our part of the internet… but the issue is, I played Mafia II and actually enjoyed it a lot, even tho I knew what it could have been If the devs got more development time… so what I am saying is, the fact you know of the game's potential doesnt necesarilly mean you cant enjoy it, just that it is disappointing and disheartening knowing the fact… and also, it's 2020/2021 this sort of stuff should not be happening, it is not like its Idk 2012 when the Mafia II controversy occured (for the record I cant remember when it actually was released 😀 I only found out what it should have been only know watching a lot vids and articles about the fact, heck I think I havent even been on the net in 2012 it feels forever :D)
really the worst thing about it is that this game comes from CDPR, a studio known for making good and well-polished games and caring about the players opinions, not from a generally scummy company like EA, Ubisoft or Activision (where I would totally expect, even predict such a behaviour)… now I must say I dont particularly like fantasy games so I havent played Witcher but I am aware how good a reception they had as a company as a whole until recently… so naturally considering I like the cyberpunk theme I was quite excited to give the game a try, just to be let down and disappointed from a developer where I didnt really expect it…
so in the end I just want to say hype culture must die as soon as possible because it will just keep on ruining games… just how they handled the release, it just feels borderline scummy If I am being honest…
I want to conclude things with as they say: "either you die a hero or you are gonna live long enough to see yourself becoming a villain" and I feel that pretty much apply here

  7. I played CP2077 during it's public release all the way to late January or the start of February and it for the most part ran and played beautifully on my Predator Helios 300! I played CP2077 in two playthroughs! One with a male V in the corpo life path and the other with a female V in the nomad life path! I got 100% of achievements in CP2077 two and a half weeks ago making CP2077 my fifth of my five Perfect Games on my Steam library! Forty of the achievements I unlocked on my playthrough with my corpo male V and the other four with my nomad female V! As far as the glitches went I won't lie I experienced plenty of them! Most of them more haha funny than anything! My entire 172 hours of playing CP2077 my weapon went invisible only once and the game itself only crashed on me once! I look forward to what CDPR has in store of CP2077's DLC which I just can't wait to get my hands on! I'll be concentrating on some Immortals: Fenyx Rising while waiting for Cyberpunk 2077's DLC to be released publicly!
