Unfinished, broken, & hollow. Those are the 3 words I would use to describe this game. They can fix the bugs. They can fix the crashes. But the game itself does not come close to achieving its lofty goals.
Cyberbug 2069 is a garbage , deserve a 5/10.
CDPR will just release some cut content as "free dlc" to look like the good guys, and release the other bits as paid "expansion" cause they support the game post launch! And unfortunately, many, many people will just forget how they lied about the game and how hollow and badly it launched.. heh, I said forget it, many won't even admit and still defend CDPR to death cause they had such high visions and ambitions and everyone playing on anything other than a top tier PC or just don't like the bugs and how mediocre the game is should just shut up cause the game is perfect.
🗣 The Most Honest Review to
The Most Disappointing Game of the Century
I thought i was the only one that felt this way, i been playing the game on series x and sure it looks ok and there are some things thats pretty neat about the game, but in noway is this game representative of what i thought the game was going to be. Its basically a action game with avg open world/rpg mechanics. To be honest other then the setting so far the whole game seems avg.
I've played about 8hrs and im going to stop, the game is not in a good state. Ill wait to play it i guess in February…
Excellent review.
About time someone made a review for this game that is just about the bugs. And I agree with your conclusion this game can be enjoyable, but only the first time you play. After that the illusion of choice is shattered.
Now I watch the "drama" "we investors/shareholders pressed the company to release the game for christmas period, but the rush and bugs are not our fault, we are victims and will sue" :/
This game is NO masterpiece. Period.
Agree to this vid 100%, got 3 endings now and I‘m 72hrs in.
The people that dropped 10/10 reviews on this game should be kicked off Youtube and run out of gaming, for openly deceiving the public. If you did this with any other product you'd be charged with fraud.
I didn't expect anything from this game and still dissapointed.
Even the low standard they couldn't keep it.
Do you presume that viewers are imbeciles ?
I got it first time, only decisions in the end matter. Why you feel the need to repeat it 27 times ?
Thanks Coach. Your CP videos are refreshing… It is sad what is happening but your criticism is 100% justified.
As a gamer who cannot spend much time playing various games because of IRL obligations and as a person who prefers RPG games over all else I am deeply disappointed by Cyberpunk. I thought I was going to get "super-enhanced W3 experience", "game of the generation" and whatever else it was called pre-release and I got… well… this.
So only game I purchased this year (playing only few sim games, Path of Exile and some games that released before 2020) has been a major letdown. At this point I don't care much about possible fixes, DLCs and other stuff for Cyberpunk. Even if the full story DLC is free, I just don't care anymore for CDPR and their way of making and promoting games.
Watch them make the undelivered promises into dlcs shit not even that so much is missing it’ll have to be a new fucking game
This game was rushed to the point where they had to leave game machanics and ideas out and now they have a shell of the game they advertized!
Negativ Nancy….two words I would use to describe your videos in general.
But hey negativity sells now a days so keep up the hate wagon.
I don’t think the hype was any higher than usual. It’s the fact for YEARS this game was marketed as a RPG to rpg gamer. Than the last min they change the name of the genera to a open world action game, and are shocked the rpg gamers are disappointed….
I really want to play all these magical RPG's that reviewers talk about where their decisions influence where they end up and how stories play out… Let's see… Skyrim? Nope. Oblivion? Nope. Baldur's Gate? Nope. Deus Ex? Nope. Fallout 3 or 4? Nope. New Vegas? Nope (although this is the closest and only one) This mythical RPG has never existed due the constraints and realities of game design.
Hopefully people will learn from this and not fall for hype and over excited YouTube reviewers who mention all the positive things about a game, but hardly any of the negatives, giving it a Good, or in some cases, a 10 out of 10 score.
There are a few YouTubers over the years that I stopped watching, or at the very least, I don't take their reviews seriously.
This reminds me of people that were defending FO 76, saying things like that, "Well I haven't experienced any bugs or crashes so…" As if that means anything to the many players that did. Congratulations. You got the rare, nearly flawless copy of the game. Meanwhile other are requesting refunds because the game is so buggy and unfinished.
I played through the game before watching reviews funny enough, and I couldnt agree more. Subscribed
The fact this game got 90’s with such lackluster gameplay makes me wonder if these “reviews” were paid for.. what game have these guys been playing it’s definitely a 70-80 range game. Smh
If you don’t make the right choice with the gang leader you don’t get to sleep with Meredith so the poster is lying
Coach Toolshed, SLAYER OF HYPEBEAST!
Multi player equals lootboxes. Investos love pay to win.
Games media and Youtubers who gave this game high to perfect scores lost all credibility to my eyes and we as gamers and consumers should not let this slip by! The bugs and glitches are not the problem, these are fixable! What is not fixable is the fact that they lied to us and gave us a game which was not what they advertised!
New Sub! Finally someone has said it!! There is no RPG elements in this game. None of the dialogue matters. I agree with you 💯 %
Merry Christmas
Feels like this is the Spider Man 3 if video games
Tries to be too many things. And what it does it doesn’t do better than anything else.
It was also overhyped and story was ugh
So ya Spider Man 3
I played it as a linear game and like it… cause I do not have time for open worlds.
The amount of delusional fanboys defending this game is truly astonishing.
Imagine if these objectives were like…a bank heist in progress, a hostage situation to defuse, suspects on the run and having to chase them down in your car, etc. Just some variety to the guys standing around in area, kill them and grab objective item.
The worst part is, it's only gonna be an improvement on what we have, not what we had expected. Sure, the bugs will be fixed, the economy and systems will be re-balanced, and we'll probably get a couple of mini-game type stuff, BUT…the main game won't be any different. It will always be a looter-shooter, and not an RPG. It's got more in common with Borderlands, than any Fallout game, and people would HATE that idea if they'd have known ahead of time. Level-locked weapons, armor combinations that look ridiculous but have to be used for their stats…it's not like any open-world RPG we've played, and not in a good or innovative way. We've had games like this, and these systems for an open-world RPG are terrible ideas! They're so MMO, it's ridiculous! That's the depressing part for me, it'll never be what they were selling to us, that would just be an entirely different game all-together.
Spot on mate. Even if you were to completely take away all the bugs / flaws and it was to run smoothly, you would still have an average to good game at best. There are key design issues that turned this game into a bit of a stinker, at least compared to what they promised. Not least of these is the fixation on Johnny's character and the hamstringing of the storyline to allow Keanu to play a more increased role.
It is so frustrating that this game did not build on what CDPR are known for through the Witcher series – deep RPG elements. The game we have instead is 'open world' but feels very much on rails. So much for playing as you want.
