  1. Ya'll gotta stop using the preorders and fans as an excuse for why they didnt delay any further. That will never sway a company's decision whether to release to delay any product and you're basically just allowing the excuse to be used again

  2. I find GTA online boring, I can't imagine how I would react to this useless night city online, probably falling asleep on the keyboard.

Besides, you all keep comparing this game with the latest version of a game made by a company that's been making and improving on open world format since the 90's… Imo we're lucky if cdpr will just fix the bugs and leave the game as it is, maybe adding an online Deathmatch lol

  3. GTFO with that reasoning this game should be GTA. Go back to playing GTA. If u cant see the difference of the two genre. Cdpr games has always been story heavy, character depth, rpg dialouge heavy type of gameplay. GTA started with the concept of stealing cars and cops interaction. Crime based game with real world story. Gta has been perfecting their physics and ai eversince. While cdpr is new in this thing but they focus their strengths in story and character depth. This is video is trash as how u can't see the differences.

  4. i HATED this game, i played for 4 hours, and there was about 5 minutes of shooting, and the other 3 hours 55 minutes was scanning shit and tagging shit and figuring out what buttons to press, and listening to people talk, i don't know how this qualifies as a "game"

  5. First rule of video game club: You DO NOT pre-order video games. Second rule of video game club: YOU DO NOT PRE-ORDER VIDEO GAMES!! Third rule of video game club: Wait until they actually finish the game before you buy it.

  6. The game definitely feels like it was released in beta, which to your note in the front half of this video is kinda to be expected given the development timeline and overlap with Covid. It has good bones, but needs a lot more polish on multiple levels.

Played through it a couple times to check out some story options that I didn’t pick the first time, and now its on the shelf. Probably pick it up in a years time once a lot more has been done and maybe a DLC or two is out.

Also totally agree with that Delamain quest. I reloaded saves multiple times on my first playthrough to hear things I missed because of him. It was rather frustrating too, given that I enjoyed Delamain in the Heist mission but his quests completely ruined him for me.

  7. the bar of expectation of a game is not set by the circumstances and world issues around or before the time of release mate. it's set based on the price tag of the game.
if Cyberpunk costs 20 bucks nobody would care about its issues but it went on sale for the full price of a AAA title without the quality of one. that's the problem. and not a single player would have preferred the game earlier unfinished than later but finished.

  8. we should be setting the bar high with publishers and developers!
if we have shitty expectations and dont hold them to account for our $$$ this is exactly what you get

  9. Bugs are not the issue – they will be fixed. The problem is cut content. When I play I have "was it supposed to be this way or is this a placeholder, because they have ran out of time" moments quite often. For example: what is the point of fine tuning looks of your person? Why all the food shops sell the same stuff? What actually is the use of food? (in W3 it was clear). The story also is weird: what is actually V's point in the very first quest? Could not Jackie drive on his own? The car chases when you shoot at other cars clearly are pre-scripted. The enemies blow up even if you do not shoot at them 🙂
