We round out our console Cyberpunk tests with a look at Xbox One systems. No question, base Xbox One has the biggest mountain to climb of last-gen systems spec-wise — but how close can it get to holding 30fps? 1. We used to judge graphic cards on their ability to run Crysis, now people will say "can it run Cyberpunk" jeez even my gtx 1070 struggle to run at 30 FPS low setting at 2k resolution

  2. A friend of mine insisted me to buy it on Xbox because they said that they’ll add an online mode later, I ignored him and bought it on my gaming laptop, where it runs at 60fps with setting on low and others in high. what a bullet I dodged there did I?

  3. It's a shame. Bought the PS4 collector's edition when they first announced it but ultimately planned on playing on PC, while dabbling on my PS4 Pro when I felt like couch gaming. May return the box now just because I've beaten the game and most of my initial excitement is kind of gone.

  4. It would have been interesting to see how the game behaves regarding textures and streaming with a faster drive. Not neccessarily an SSD. By my experience on several other games with similar issues (f.e. Borderlands) a 3.5" HDD run externally would already improve texture loading and streaming significantly. I personally use an 8TB Seagate Barracuda Pro on my PS4 Pro, but I guess any other 3.5" HDDs with 7200 RPM and read speeds in the 200 Mbyte/s, or close to it is capable enough.

  5. You can't have a next generation game on a last generation system, I do think they should've sacrificed quality for a stable frame rate on PS4/XONE. People do need to realize it's a miracle it runs on them at all, without DLSS too that is.
