Cyberpunk 2077 biggest mystery the discovery of Mr. Blue Eyes and his organization. Truly a sinister tale with more info that we don’t even know of due to him showing up very little in-game. But today we are going to compile all the info we know on him and talk about some theories that are quite thought provoking.

  1. RE: Night Corp I figure they exist to handle all of the infrastructure needs of Night City not covered by another Corporation. They may not supply power, food,, network services but they may run Sewage Treatment and Garbage collection for example. The could also exist to prevent another Corporation from becoming too powerful and exist as an alternative vendor to prevent a monopoly. in a given sector.

  2. YOUR THE MAN, honestly these types of videos are the best. It’s unfortunate cyberpunk isn’t performing up to expectations, but that doesn’t mean the story sucks, and videos like this make it all the better. Thank you 🙏

  3. Some side info I think is worth noting is in a side mission where you have to free a cop who's been sent to an asylum to disappear you can find the same transceiver johnny spots in the Peralez mission on the roof, along with a soldier johnny served with. I'm assuming this Illuminate organization has something to do with the war in Mexico.

  4. I like the theory of him being a proxy for Blackhand. In the tabletop lore, Blackhand dies fighting Smasher on Arisaka tower in 2023, and Johnny dies just before that, which they obviously changed in the game, and we never actually see Blackhand in the game. And there was a leak which people dismissed that there would be a DLC that delves into Blackhands history and lore, having us explore his secrets and finding out what actually happened to him.
As for the idea of another rogue AI inside V…I'm sure Johnny would detect if there was someone else inside. But if the Mr Blue Eyes story actually takes place after the main story, it could mean a cure for V. Personally, I believe nano-tech could solve the issue of body deterioration, if there is such a thing as medicinal nanites.

  5. The way that this story almost prophetically describes our current world has be fully engrossed. I plan on getting the tabletop books. Not b/c I play but b/c I'm so interested in the story. I honestly feel like this world is about to blow up.

  6. I remember discussing it on another video but Night Corp is extremely sus. I think that Richard Night isn't actually dead but a Halo ODST-type Ai that's running the city which could be the reason why Night Corp is trying to dig a tunnel right into Mikoshi (a tunnel that is guarded by Militech). The eye thing I found very similar to Alita Battle Angel (at least the new movie that came out) that it turned out the person who we thought was the Antagonist (with blue eyes) was just a living puppet for Nova (so whoever Nova controlled, had blue eyes), so that set the alarm off for me that Blue eyes are just the figurehead puppet.

Then there's the rogue AI thing, something that I am certain is bigger than it's played to be. If you read the in-game journals about the Black Wall, it mentions how Netwatch is lying about the integrity of the black wall and things come through and back the Black Wall more often than they'd like to admit. Again, almost every AI happens to know about V's relic problem from an AI vending machine to Alt. Even the Voodoo boys claim that something is coming from the Net and it's why they want to break through the Black Wall. That leads me to some other Cyberpunk material it reminds me of: the Sprawl Trilogy by William Gibbson where an AI hires people to basically break itself out of AI prison without the characters knowing about it and joins other AIs in Cyberspace called the Voodoo deities. Ironically enough, the final act of the first trilogy book, Neuromancer, involves the gang going to space… kinda like V.

So what I've noticed is a major thing the game keeps hinting at is the Crystal Palace. From Sandra's findings to something Mike Pondsmith's character on the radio was talking about: how someone on the moon is sending a lot of valuable things in a Noah's arc type deal in preparation of the end (which is something Netwatch believes will happen if the rogue AIs break out of the Blackwall – read the ingame journal). So there's a lot of pointers, from how I'm reading into it is that the end is coming, rogue AIs are involved, Night Corp is operating behind the scenes, and all roads lead to the Crystal Palace.

  7. There is a Gig you do for Padre where he sends you to a Valentino stronghold to take out someone who killed a c*p. Valentino’s are protecting him. The mission gets deeper due to a connection between the Valentino’s and Militech you find halfway through the mission. After you tell Padre and he warns you to stay away from the situation do to the start of another possible “corpo-war”. My theory is this rouge AI is responsable for pulling the strings and wanted to make another corpo war. However plans change when V takes on Arasaka

  8. I haven't heard anyone talk about the Voodoo Boys. Who told them about the chip and why did they want it? Why does Brigitte say there is a "war coming" and they "want to be on the right side"?

  9. in the gig where you rescue someone from the asylum run by militech, the same anti-interception receivers from peralez's mission are on top of the asylum, and scans the same as them too. again, at an insane asylum for suppressing political opponents and those w dirt on militech. how many others receivers are there in the city, and what is the significance of their placement, likely near militech installations? definitely seems worth looking into

  10. People forget soul killer 3.0 is an AI itself – like the black wall – which is why its so deadly. Also when you think “Rogue AI” you should also consider entities like Delamain. Created for one purpose but decided to seek another. They are not all “evil”, though that Lilith scares the crap out of me

  11. There's one small details that leads me to a whole other theory.

If you remember the Nomad ending, the tunnel you use to infiltrate Arasaka Tower is a property of Night Corp. I think this tunnel was used to steal all the stuff Mr. Blue Eyes's people stole, including that space shuttle. And that would tie him even closer to Night Corp, with the Sandra Dorsett stolen data and now this tunnel thing.

It's not likely to be true but what if Mr. Blue Eyes is Richard Night ? Aferall the game tells you he was assassinated under weird circumstances, maybe he faked his death or somehow escaped into the net to then become an AI powerful enough to plan a full retake of Night City with him as the supreme immortal ruler of it.

  12. You don't see Morgan in the Johnny flashbacks because Johnny's a narcissistic, alcoholic and drug addict, pathological liar. Johnny doesn't remember circumstances as they happened because they don't fit with his world view and self-image, which is why his flashbacks jump around so much and why they differ from the Never Fade Away and Endgame adventures.

Johnny believed himself to be the hero of everything, so he conjured up a fiction for himself in which he never sold out to Militech, he led the Arasaka tower raid rather than Morgan, Thompson was never there at all, Spider wasn't who managed to extract Alt, Johnny not Shaitan fought Adam instead of getting OHKO'ed and never making it out of the tower, and Morgan was never there at all to sacrifice himself and buy time for the survivors to extract. V sees Johnny's fictionalized version of events in which he was a one-man army that did everything of note.

  13. I have a very difficult time believing there are even options for future single player DLC for this game. With all of the story implications revolving around the endings I don't see how they could implement new content for V's story. I could only see CDPR creating DLC for events that take place before the ending, but then what's the point, right? With much of the endings being grim and varying so greatly from one another, I'm really struggling to figure out what they could potentially do. I dunno, lemme know what you guys think because this is very tough compared to other games. Preem work with these videos Gingy, they really get ya thinkin'!

  14. The dormant vessel theory is interesting, but because of my Generation Zero days with research over theory for an also Sci-Fi related theory of taking control, but transmitting it, what Alt said about 'body treating you as an invader' sounds pretty true. The moment that control was wrestled from the body by either externally sending signals or trying to make the human's neural network be the one sending out these signals, the control is being 'wrestled' away and the body can kill itself by the immune system overreacting. Search Cytokines, Cytokine Storm, Protozoa, EEG helmets, invasive implants etc

The scenario was about connecting an EEG helmet and the connected human would make signals to execute commands or move machinery, but the scientists would only reach inconclusive/mysterious results, because no method could leave the body undamaged. Either their developed immunosuppressants to take away control fails eventually and kills the body, either it's the person's own body releasing a Cytokine storm.

  15. I believe DLC taking place AFTER the final mission is NEVER going to happen, since it would create a definite Cannon-Ending; therefore, rendering the other endings irrelevant/ false. Making the game even more linear than it is already.

  16. there is also a snippit of dialog between you, Johnny, and Alt where if you claim Johnny didn't mean to "kill her" from what you saw in his memories, she will explain that is how JOHNNY remembers it and not how things actually went down. Ran across that a couple of nights ago in fact. Its during the conversation after the Voodoo boys get purged when you first meet Alt.

  17. another note, Mr. Blackhand was more than likely in his 40s or 50s back in 2023 and would more than likely be around 100 in 2077 [funny, same age as me about]. He COULD be using Mr. Blue Eyes as a proxy just because hes getting pretty damn old and didn't have the expensive tech available that ol' Saburo Arasaka did to keep himself somewhat healthy [150 and hes still walking around on his own two legs apparently].

  19. I actually noticed a very notable connection between Maelstrom and the Blue Eyed Man through this "Lilith" specifically that they seem to have a cult centered on her worship. One of the later Cyberpsycho Missions has you arrive at night on the scene of a cult-like ritiual which involved a young woman who was to be "possessed" I think… but something went wrong and she just killed everyone there (very spooky and atmospheric).

In fact – could Regina be working with these people? What if the rise in Cyberpsycho cases is related to the plan to plant AI in unsuspecting hosts? Maybe Alpha Centauri wants to "recover" lost vessels to see what went wrong and is working with Regina who is laboring under the assumption that diagnosing cyberpsychosis is the only possible reason for these gigs. That "possessed" Maelstrom woman is one such vessel most likely….

This might even explain why Maxtac always goes for the kill – they want to eliminate suspected hosts? I mean, I know some in the unit have been designated such in the past, but perhaps there is a connection to be made there?

As conspiracies goes, these at least lay the groundwork for good DLC.

  20. Hey! I want to share something that i found and am struggling to find it again. On the mission never fade away, when i played the game for the first time i found a place in arasaka tower where Johnny had three options to either unplug and kill alt and two other options. I was just trying to break the game then and didnt care so i made a mistake there. Now that ive learnt about the cyberpunk 2020 lore and the game sourcebook describes the mission exactly how I experienced it. This is also where johnny makes a mistake (which is also mentioned in the lyrics of the song never fade away- and he says he wont do it again). The game glitched a lot then so i dont have my save files, can you do a bit of digging during that mission and/or play it exactly how its described in the sourcebook for me please? I really think theres something here
