Call me crazy but ‘Release’ should be at the end of the fucking ‘Roadmap’, not at the start…
I just noticed cyberpunk and fallout 4 has the same year
I feel bad that I have to deleted my Red dead redemption 2 game file so I can have enough space to download Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 4
Witcher 3 had fake gameplay at E3 too so why do people find this surprising?
Of course it was. Almost every e3 demo is fake.
I think the disconnect between the executives and developers was massive, I believe some of the exec’s are as dumb as some customers believing a day 1 patch would fix things
Don't mind me , just writing the 393rd comment.
Welp fuck this shit I'm going back to Yakuza
The developers and the fans that still care to stick around deserve one thing from CDPR… The game should be Pulled back into full development for the time being with a refund being an option for everyone. And then they should release the game when it's atually what the developers wanted to release. Be it a year ot two years… Shouldn't matter. It will be costly and it might be a bit more than CDPR can afford. But one thing they can't afford is having no one buy their next game and the game there after. It's costly to run a business. And sometimes it's even more costly to clean up your mess. In 2022 there should be a Cyberpunk 2077 Rebooted edition released. Everyone who have the game should get the upgrade free. And it shouldn't just be a patch. It should be a totally new version of the game. Not just fixing the bugs and issues. But adding in the things the devs had intended to have there (if possible). Pull a Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn (if that's a fair comparison). I'm no Die hard CDPR fan. I playd some of The Witcher 3 when it came out. It didn't really live up to what i was original promised so i kinda lost interest in it after not too many hours. But i was still looking forward to Cyberpunk. My expectations where much lower and more realistic. But from what i've seen 2077 doesn't even live up to that. And seeing how just off the game seems to be etc i'm disappointed. These are the guys that made the game that rivaled Rockstar in how alive thier worlds are. And here we are with videos showing us how GTAV from 2013 is miles better than Cyberpunk.
I don't know what to say. I was ready to buy a PS5 release on Day 1. But at this point i'm not sure if i want it anymore. It's not just the bugs… But it's also how dead the game kinda seems. CDPR fucked over their fans and their developers. And it's kinda sad to see how quick alot of people are to defend the game. And i get it, it's ok to like it. And if you didn't experience the issues many others did that's fair. But i see too many people trying to play down the issues many do how with their experience. Telling people tho shut up because they personaly had a good experience so any complaints are therefor invalid. It's like ''I had fun so therefor they desserve no criticism''. That mentality is why so many game developers release such unfinished games these days. Ubisoft these days know they can just releasa an early access game as a full release and fix it over time because people are not as hard on them anymore. ''We shouldn't get so hyped. It's our fault''. I hate that mentality. It's like we shouldn't expect much anymore so we won't be disappointed when games aren't up to par. That mentality is why we are in the situation we are with so many unfinished games. People are making the problem worse. Expectations are ok. They are important. We need to keep devs to certain standards. Or else… This will be the norm going forward. I miss buyins finsihed games. Is that so wrong of me?
It looked gay anyway
Real shit cyberpunk felt like playing a different version of fallout76
Cyberfail 2076 🙁 – Worst game (that I have played!) in 2020! Seriously, I might be getting picky when it comes to games, but I don't buy all that many now so I expect those few that I spend money on to be really really good and this wasn't…the bugs are one thing, but the worst are over promising and under delivering and also lying about features (with that fake demo – hell, I had suspected that before Jason Schreier came out with that story – but also with interviews up to launch! They knew a lot of things weren't ever made and they still told us that those existed, like meaningful choices (nope: Most choices are an illusion and don't influence the main story at all!), consequences and diverging story paths (nope! Linear story all the way – until the shitty endings!)…or the fact that the city was supposed to react (and change!) according to what the player did, his reputation, deeds etc. when in reality the city-simulation is a freaking Hollywood-Style facade that falls appart as soon as you do something the AI doesn't account for – like parking a car on the street! Vehicles don't go around, they pile up…traffic jam!)…the devs are part of this, too not just management!
The devs wanted their bonuses, thus they lied (in interviews), hid the state of the game, the performance on old gen consoles etc. etc.
Should have taken the refund and I shouldn't have pre-ordered, but I did pre-order and I didn't ask for a refund…I am dumb that way I suppose, because this game can't be fixed – unless they go back and write a new story (otherwise how can there be meaningful choices or diverging paths? The current linear story doesn't allow for it!)!
Stop! Right! There! – Management may be the most guilty of this being released as a turd, instead of a revolutionary game the likes that gamers talk about for decades, but the devs aren't innocent little lambs either! They (also) promised stuff in interviews (up to launch!) that they knew was never included (especially since that demo was a fake that they kitbashed together…more like a movie than gameplay!) and they also – on purpose out of greed (their bonuses were tied to a metacritic-score! – obfuscated and lied (and hid it!) about old gen performance! So no, the devs aren't blameless here! Hell, many of them (the true talent seems to have jumped ship early!) may not be competent enough to make good on their promises, despite having had 4-5 years of full production and 2-3 years of pre-producation (game being announced in 2012!)…seriously, WW2 concluded in less time, so don't tell me that a game can't be made in that time!
I know this is very serious but 7:50 lol Jackie said fuck u
Why wouldn't you get a refund on the console version in some hope that the last-gen console version will get fixed? These people will hold on to those versions instead of upgrading to next-gen and get double-dipped? lol
Before anyone gives CDPR any benefit of the doubt about the demo being a fake section if gameplay, let's remember this was done by Gearbox with Aliens Colonial Marine, when they mocked up an entire fake level for E3 and having now played a fair amount of Cyberpunk, doesn't that 1 mission to get the drone feel a lot more in depth with a wider range of choices than any of the other missions presented which are let's be honest pretty much on rails, comparing it to say Panam's first mission, how many paths are available there, how many actual choices…
Just remember how many 9-10/10 reviews the game got. The whole situation feels like a scam.
Make us pay to be their Game testers. Genius! Corporate at its finest!
never trust a company who was only known for a single franchise game
Im still surprised pepple are defending them 🤣🤣😂
The physics in this game are absolute trash lmaoo
As a polish guy I'm impressed by your perfect pronunciation of Iwiński's name
Can't wait for that standalone multiplayer version!!!!
Yeah at some point they knew how far wrong is was going and at that decision point they decided to just make as much money as they could with what they had.
the entire life of the dev's are : creating a feature and working on it for weeks or months then suddenly a higher up scraps the idea saying "i dont feel it would sell well" and thinking about adding it later on to the game via DLC. rinse and repeat, hence the countless amount of cut content on the game.. and oh, most of the people that originally developed TW3 are long long gone because of this mismanagement.. a developer even said on glassdoor: "i dont know how we pulled of TW3".. speaks volume
To be honest, that "apology" video also throw their QA team under the bus. Bugs are abandon and quite frequent. Marcin basically implied that their QA team didn't do their job well enough. When it's probably the complete opposite. And, at this point, I doubt they could patch in the deeper, branching narratives they marketing the game with.
demo wasnt faked the producers already debunked this
Greedy Fraudjekt MisLed
Quite a few of their veteran devs that worked on witcher 3 left. So it's similar to bioware with the making of andromeda. They burn them out.
