  1. Before release I said it is a mistake not to include 3rd and 1st person perspective. I got a ton of hate from people "saying it is impossible to have both options and 1st person is more immersive and that is better ect ect"

  2. Here's the idea CD project red needs to do: reinstate the abilities we saw in the demo, open up night City more, add more quests and four extra endings…… And if at all possible keep fixing the game…

  3. Sadly with CDPR moving onto the next witcher game I doubt they will No Man's Sky this game. They will just do a patchathon and patch it up and add features that were meant to be there since launch, i'd be content with a working police system and a functioning game. Hopefully the DLC will be better. It's 2021 and nothing is fucking awesome anymore all you get is utterly horrible or just OK. So with this in mind I never get too excited for anything anymore and that way I can not be so crushingly disappointed. I do miss the days of developers actually caring about their game now it's just about making money only for the top 5 percent of the company.

  4. This game should have stayed 3rd person, and on red engine3, and there would have been far less problems in trying to get older machoies, and pcs to runs an older engine thanks CD Projeckt red for being as greedy as the settings corporations who mput money ABOVE ALL ELSE…

  5. Steps were as followed through facts and patterns:

    1) 20+ year RPG company builds on previous projects to produce the culmination of a great balance with the success of witcher three.
    2) cyber punk begins development with the same foundation and formula of previous projects and building upon that success.
    3) information along the lines of progress and intentions are made up to the showcase reveal of intended direction and progress in the 48 minute demo in 2018 ( Which is later found out to be a lie not because this was never the intention or this wasn’t the progress that I’ve been made for the project so far, but because they scrapped all of thiS to go in a different direction… Thus turning the demo into a lie)
    4) during all of this time prior to 2018 the project is labeled officially as a single player open world RPG
    5) 2018 showcases keanu Reeves involvement which fans go ballistic over and rightfully so because the dude is awesome
    6) cdpr leadership Observes consumers reaction to Reeves involvement and make a profit minded business minded decision above the developers heads to cut/scrap project progress and direction to go in a different direction.
    7) leader ship early 2019 shift project n relabel the project as a single player open world action adventure story a.k.a. action adventure game which it is currently labeled as as of this moment.
( for the first time in 20+ years of building upon previous RPG projects to further perfect there RPG formula… They changed the game into a different genre and pull the rug out from under the developers feet all in the last year before the projects release)
    8) leader ship insist of not informing consumers of this genre shift and new direction knowing that it would hurt pre-orders and sales. So they say nothing officially or publicly in regards to the S so as to ride consumers justified expectations of the intended project to be released all while knowing full well that that project will now not see the light of day.
    9) they manipulated and lied and kept quiet when necessary and have since then not owned up to the choices and decisions leader ship made. They have yet to be held accountable for this. Developers have to do what leader ship wants otherwise they don’t have a job, and leader ship are a bunch of fucking pathetic cowards in my opinion at this moment because they will not man up in regards to the choices and decisions they made that were based off profit and not project.

Leader ship needs to be held accountable for this as these are facts, not theories. It is based off of evidence accessible to anyone, progress, patterns, proof. If leader ship is allowed to not own up to the S and admit what we already know, it will reinforce that they can get away with it. That their choices or decisions were justified and OK. That they can do it again. You don’t want this kind of thinking or mindset with your projects or product. It’s a bad one and they need to answer for it. In a very direct way.
They are so-called apologies so far have been disingenuous or miss leading and not acknowledging these facts or admitting and answering for them. They’ve also use that time to pivot direction towards selective positive feedback or sales numbers. That’s corporate bullshit.

The johnny’s silver hand action adventure story game is fine. You are nothing more than a vehicle/tool to Johnny story as you complete the tutorial and then go about the rest of the game constantly being reminded in a ticking Time bomb narrative of Johnny’s involvement as he continues to pop up and almost every situation you’re in reminding you that this is an about you the player, but about him. He is the protagonist and your role is simply to bring about a culmination of a handful of outcomes to his story, and then the games over.
Again, it’s not a bad game, it’s fine. It was mostly enjoyable for a play through as the city is an amazing environment, though much of it has been cut and scrapped and is a lifeless dead world… But it looks very interesting and pretty, unfortunately all the meat has been cut out.

Main thing is is that even though the game is fine, it nowhere near compares to their previous project, or projects in that regard. If you enjoy what’s left of cyber punk in this Johnny action adventure game, then it really should grind your gears to know what was actually promised and intended with the cyber punk RPG. Because the difference between the two r universes apart from each other. The cyberpunk RPG was in effect intended and progress shown up until 2018 when leader ship decided to scrap that to go in the action adventure game direction focused on Johnny. They broke their rPG pattern for the first time in history literally in the last year of this project development and it is so sad to know what could’ve been. To look at what is left of the superficial skin of this incredibly interesting world and realize all the bones and meat that were gutted out from underneath it when it was an RPG. So very much potential, mind boggling. And I just want leader ship to man up, and own their choices/decisions that they made here. To hold themselves accountable and just be honest with us and omit what they did. It’s not like they’re telling us anything new, because this is all clearly evident with all the facts to back it up. They need to own that, until then they’re just spineless coward‘s acting like corporate business suits.

And amen to ur Ubisoft 2 yr old analogy legacy . Company and business model and practices that consumer justify or support Through spoiled self absorbed instant gratification addiction where they constantly compromise or project onto bullshit to somehow enhance in their mind what is just lazy to no effort for mediocre results. It’s fucking pathetic

  6. all who were hyped based their hype on one game that this company did The wicther 3 may be great game but look at cyberpunk its such a failure on all sides…..Dont expect anything better from them I rly hope they will pay for all the lies they spread about the game to sell it in pre orders…..they fooled pple….happy I didnt buy it…..and I dont see any comeback happening when they got their money 😉

  7. This game broke my heart… I can't bring myself to play it. It's installed, but I haven't touched it since the first patch after launch… The first person decision is so dumb for an RPG. When you have to unload several clips in an enemy, 1stP loses it's charm…

  8. OK so Henry who obviously has plenty of cash not giving into scalpers and get a ps5 or a badass gpu really says something. I commend him! Wish everyone wouldn’t give into the scalpers and it would stop.

  9. They made a game where we can customize our character then almost never see that in the game, yeah they f*cked up. I don't mind a "more immersive" first person, just don't tease me with options clearly meant for third person.

  10. The one thing I hate the most about Cyberpunk 2077’s botched launch other than it’s botched last gen launch is that Smug Prick Jason Schreier probably having a field day after it launched as we all know he has had it out for this game from the get go

  11. This game HAS to be third person I’ve been playing these quests before I finish the story recently and trust me,always being on third person really annoys someone like what’s the point of the character customization?not trying to come off as rude but what’s the point of having your character when there even aren’t even cutscenes in the first place ,when it’s serious moments of first person cutscenes I can’t even feel the emotion because all I am seeing is one character,I wanted to connect with my own character so these scenes can sound and be serious, I don’t know what to even think anymore.
I bought rdr2 on January and honestly?its so much better because you get to feel like home, the scenes and the connections feel so accurate it’s not even an rpg!I just hope they do better or else I give up with cyberpunk

  12. ill be honest the 3rd person view is light years better then 1st person the only reason i can think of as to why its not in the game? if it was style would matter movement would matter reactions would matter interactions would matter in short … they got lazy … the result running around looking like a reject joker and not in a cool way . also have you seen how many left? theres way more then some pissed about it.

  13. See no reason to not have third person and first person, considering Fallout New Vegas from 12 years ago could do it and was a better RPG game. I honestly not sure if they will ever recover from this. Though some irony in a game about hacking got hacked

  14. Turning the game into FPS in the middle of production is the main reason the game became rubbish. They have the longest time in the world to make the game, longer than Rockstar making RDR2. With that amount of time, the lack of polish, the lack of content, and the barren world is unacceptable. Especially for a developer as caliber as CDPR

  15. I've been waiting cyberpunk has much Oriental potential within the properties of the game itself. It's just the slight nick pics that throws the game south. For example the vehicle customization weapon customization, in-game currency and leveling is a little out of wack, and not include the limited choice of where you live or how you can grow your character to basically become an emperor in the game. There's always cosmetic issues I stumble upon and graphical details that I've seen mobile games do better. I'm not hating the game I'm just addressing the most subpleural outitude of detail and simplified problems could make the game so much better in a sense of literal detail. So why not make simple adjustments and add the slightest bit of tweaking. Would it not be worth it? What do you think?

  16. In the Alfa gameplay the Wearable cyberware was a thing "Sandra" got a robotic Arm. I would love to play the Alfa version, It looks more fun to play. That was the version that they advertised and than sold the Ripoff lie. 3rd person as option switchable would have been so awesome. To bad the only thing that made it to the final game were the bugs. Great.
