Cyberpunk 2077 continues to have a tumultuous launch window as noted by fan backlash, an apology from the developers, and a daily discourse around the game’s quality that has the industry in an uproar.

CD Projekt Red had an emergency investor meeting this week assumingly to smooth out some of the launch wrinkles the company has been dealing with ever since Cyberpunk 2077 launched last week.

While PC gaming rigs and the Xbox Series X continue to run Cyberpunk fairly well there are still a number of issues with the game which CDPR is hoping to address. Of course, last-gen consoles like the PS4 and Xbox One have seen a “hotfix” since launch but according to CDPR there is still a lot of work to be done for Cyberpunk to reach what fans might consider an acceptable bar of quality.

The uproar from the games community and the issues present have lead to some reviewers reducing the games review score and aggregate sites are even posting warnings about the disparity between the different versions of Cyberpunk 2077.

It’s a lot… but don’t worry. On today’s episode of Inside Gaming Daily we’re going to recap and catch you up with everything going on with Cyberpunk 2077.

  1. Think you missed the shareholders telling them off for thinking they were expecting next gen or pc quality for current gen when they just wanted a playable game 😂

  2. No one had any motivation at all to sound a warning on this: not CDPR (obviously), not Sony, not Microsoft and not the reviewers either, who knew that they would get massive pushback from their audience if they marked the game down.

  3. I don't have problems with the game I'm playing on PS4 slim only seen 4bugs (12h gameplay) having a stable 30 FPS (of course) and have not seen any dips since 1.04 update. But I've also upgraded my PS4 with a sshd.

  4. They are being shady as shit with this "base console" discourse, and the worst part is, people are buying that bs.

That's not the issue with the game, they f*ed it up everywhere. The framer ate and bugs not being "as bad" on current consoles or high end pcs, doesn't excuse them being there in the first place.

Don't let it be how this story is remembered ffs.

  5. Everyone is willing to kill of this game instead of waiting for it to redeem it's self, hasn't CDPR been known for redeeming all their games? I know the game is in a bad state, but if we get the company into a position where they can't do any more future updates EVERYONE loses, so let's just calm down and wait this out?

  6. Full sale university is a scam . It is used as an example in business schools in ireland as a business model for crooks. look into the hundreds of thousands of people who have been scammed by them.

  7. umm game cert is not a bug testing phase, when a publisher sends a game to cert the ones checking are looking for things like if the game is playable, is the game content in line with the values of our platform in the context in which it is shown, can the game be finished, is it translated properly into the proposed release languages. the platform holder is checking these things not does v maintain momentum if walking through a teleport causing him to spawn in a new area out of bounds

All those gaming news channels/sites are acting like predators, feasting on CDPR fall, thats start to be even worse than what CDPR did.

  12. Respectfully Rockstar Still credit devs even if they leave before publishing!!!! I have first hand experience of a developer working on Red Dead 2 leaving before the release but after development and still receiving full credits. perhaps there has been instances or perhaps its that you refer to those who did don't complete development rather than publishing. Still just a little unfair to claim!

  13. Poor devs trying to alert the management shouting "It's broken on base consoles" over the sound of the PS4 fans spooling up. Room must have sounded like an F-22 Raptor taking off. No wonder management couldn't hear them.

  14. I mean that’s how refunds work for a lot of companies, if you purchase from a store other than developer you are still bound by that stores refund policies.

There are a lot more problems though than just performance, even on PC there are still a bunch of obvious bugs, dead features and mechanics that either weren’t finished or were never completely removed, and unfinished assets.
