  1. Hi Favor and Robert! That is a nice KOA campground! i wonder what they charge for the cabins…they are really cute! What a great afternoon at the museums. They both looked fun and interesting! Dinner looked soooooooo good! I'm glad you got to spend time with your friends! Hugs!

  2. Cute little RV park. The cabins are cute – remind me of "cabinzed" quoonset huts LOL. Nice laundry room – nice and clean, too (as are the bathrooms). I loved playing with the carts when I worked at a laundry/dry cleaners. (Yes, I worked there too! LOL Did whatever I had to do, for whatever length of time, to make ends meet, for however long I had to, or it lasted. And then I finally was able to get a decent, long-lasting job, with benefits, and spent 30 years there! But also worked various part-time jobs then too – worked 7 days a week for many years!) That is a very nice setup with the big honkin' thing that you called a Class A. LOL. Cute little store in the office area!

That video games museum is SO COOL, I would LOVE to go there! I started out with an Atari, or ColecoVision system, and my fist game was regular P:ong – which – if you set the rackets" right, it would play all by itself, but I still found it THRILLING!! ROTFL. My 2nd game was called Duck Hunt, which involved shooting ducks (violent, eh) and my Dad also loved it. I was about 12 or13, so maybe '72 or '72 or so? When my sister and BIL got the original Nintendo for their kids, we all stayed up 24/7 for like a week surrounding Christmas, all trying to get to higher levels, and eventually beat, Mario Brothers – the whole family was obsessed! And the kids were pissed at the adults for paying "their" game! ROTFL. I also loved Zelda, and when I was in the Navy, they had a Space Invaders at the Enlisted Mena's Club, and I played pretty much every single night. If not that, it was pool (real pool, not a video game) 🙂 There is a resort called Pop Century at Disney World that has shadow boxes n the lobby with all types of stuff from different eras, and I LOVED spending long periods of time just wandering around, reliving memories, looking at all the stuff. There also used to be a big building called Disney Quest in what is now Disney Springs (was Downtown Disney then) that had all kinds of "tech stuff" in it, including an area called the Reload Zone, which was all retro video game (Galaga, Centipede, Donkey Kong,, Pacman and Ms. Pacman, etc.) which is where I would spend HOURS!!! It was may happy place! 🙂 HUGE BRAVO to Rob for high score on Galaga, and PacMan!!!!!!

That model train museum looked fantastic as well!! I have several friends who would LOVE it there!!

Socially distanced hugs from New Jersey to you and Rob, Gramma, the whole family, and all the gorgeous fur babies! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!

  3. I was in the Dallas area about 5 years ago for a two week training. One of my favorite restaurants I went to was Babe’s chicken dinner house. They have several locations in Texas. Have you eaten there before? I loved it so much.

  4. The cabins looked so cute! The video game museum was so cool! The first video games I remember playing were pong, and when I was a teenager I was absolutely hooked on Ms. PacMan and Galaga. Were the games included in the ticket price? The train museum would have been a cherry on the top kind of day for my husband. I think I would have also enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
