Dark Souls, the Board Game – Ep.29 – Undead Settlement: Bonfire Tile
After many hardships and close encounters with death, we managed to defeat the Winged Knight.
Now we move into the streets of the Undead Settlement where the undead corpses are joined by outrider knights from the Boreal Valley.
But before we face the Boreal Outrider Boss, we must first push through 5 encounters and find better gear.
Speaking of gear, lets have a look at our heroes:
The Herald:
-Heal
-Talisman
-Halberd, equipped with:
-Titanite Shard
-Winged Knight Armour, equipped with:
-Tiny Being’s Ring
The Heralds stats are as follows:
-Strength Tier 2, yes, we used 4 souls after the last encounter to level it up from Tier 1
-Dexterity Base Tier
-Intelligence Tier 2
-Faith Tier 2
The Assassin:
-Soul Arrow
-Court Sorcerer Robes
-Target Shield
The Assassin’s stats are as follows:
-Strength Base Tier
-Dexterity Tier 2, yes, we used 4 souls after the last encounter to level it up from Tier 1
-Intelligence Tier 2
-Faith Base Tier
Moving forward, I would like to add some new home rules:
-we can no longer buy sparks, so if we run out of sparks we fail the campaign and must start over
-defeating bosses will grant us 1 spark
(also, as a side note, since we defeated the Winged Knight, we also received 1 spark, so we now have 5 sparks)
-the spark maximum is 5, so if we defeat a boss while having 5 sparks, then our heroes will receive 1 extra soul each
