Bentham takes the first step towards his ultimate goal of paving the entire planet in concrete, as he sets up production of foundations! Soon, work will begin on the main bus, and to make the space for it, Bentham needs to level mountains and fill oceans! His work is interrupted however by the bginning of a death spiral, in which the power supply for the factory begins to collapse under the strain of power demand. Luckily, in Dyson Sphere Program itβs a pretty quick fix to get things back online!

No I haven't been waiting for this you have
Coal is technically infinite through oil cracking, but leaving any non zero amount of natural resource on planet is a big no no
clearing the wood and brush is really a waste of energy. You won't ever use it aside from 1 or 2 techs. You can use it for mech energy but it's inefficient. Better to set up graphite for that until you can do Hydrogen/deuterium cells.
You will automatically clear items when you place buildings on them.
I really love the lore of this game because it's applied with such a light touch but makes a ton of sense as you play it. Having to learn the ropes of reality after living in a simulated world lends itself really well to the research focused gameplay
i wonder how long it will take until he notices that the third concrete factory is missing an input… π
algorithm
19:15 I figured it was more like your society has been in the Matrix/Second Life for so long that they've literally forgotten how that damnably irritating set of constraints called Physics actually works; their "CentreBrain" is working Physics out from base principles with the help of the matrices you're sending it via the Labs
would sure explain why the hell a Mecha-building civilization needs to research Electromagnetism
I feel like the removal of trees and rocks needs a drag-select mechanic.
And let's never forget … you're using iron chests…
Loving this game
Cool π
Third foundation making machine is not connected to input.
Well Factorio's assemblers have 0.5x, 0.75x and 1.25x. What happened to 1x, Wube? What happened to 1x!?
You can stick a bunch of solar panels on the poles of a planet with low axial inclination and get 24-hour sun exposure.
Bentham according to the wiki I found for Thermal plants the 80% efficiency deals with the burn time and energy loss. For example Graphite has an energy value of 6.30MJ, so to see the energy used in the plant times by .80, then divide by 2.16 (the power generated) and you get your burn time of 2.34 seconds burn time per piece of Graphite. I believe the fuel chamber bonus deals with the energy gained for mech recharge
lol I was just wondering while watching some people play this if anyone will try a main bus setup like people have done in Factorio.
π You forgot to put the 2nd input on that 3rd assembler at 23:34, drove me crazy you didn't see it while running around building a few times talking. lol.
I look forward to seeing you use a bus given that the game seems to be built around making successive scales of robot logistic network
That 90% in the generator near the end was the generators not providing enough power for the grid – they are running at full speed but the grid requires more power. When you have more generation than demand the satisfaction says 100%.
Bentham concerned about wasting resources. Makes sense when you're building a frickin Dyson Sphere.
I would also buffer graphite before the power.
You'd really merge two coal belts somewhere in the middle of graphite production. It won't be beautiful, but it'd be efficient, since provide more tgan full belt of coal.
my comment for the youtube algorithm!
"Paving" over stuff doesn't destroy them, you can "Raise" them again if they vanish while using foundation using the tool in the foundation panel
