  6. I got an exotic weapon. Honestly I wasn't even expecting to get a shard so I'm ok with it. I think players who already have everything might need to realize that there's not much more that Bungie can give them that would be impressive.

  14. Got a vesper of radius I will probably never use which sucks cos it’s got some really good stat rolls. But also, I got vex nog and something else I couldn’t find. Was hoping for bright dust and emotes

  17. I was disappointed, but I was like eh better than nothing, an exotic ship, a emote, some shaders, a legendary fusion rifle, ascendant shards, exotic armor. Yeah that's not bad actually.
    So I think this is just folks acting like a five year old. Lack of communication, yeah I think bungie need to talk often.

  19. My hopes weren’t high anyway since I had every single exotic armor for all classes and almost all exotic except the beyond light ones. So when I got the beyond light exotic boots for the warlock (rift on dawn blade kill) I was genuinely surprised.

  28. Destiny from 2020 is: Play 2 weeks of the new season and then play something else for the remaining time. Bungie is an arrogant studio, who doesn't listen to feedbacks; definitely a dying boring game where there're more unhappy players than the happy uber casual ones.

Well, as a more casual player who doesn't grind 1280s daily, doesn't rush trials or iron banner bs, does barely one raid a week because not enough time on my hands with my job and gf, etc, I mean a regular non-tryharding player who still likes D2 for A LOT of reasons, I think I can speak safely for a lot of players: the rewards I got from the packages are largely good enough (I also got many legendary shards, which is enjoyable), and I got an ascendant shard plus an exotic instead of just a cosmetic grind like Solstice stuff. It feels really useful to me, and I'm outraged by the lack of gratitude from the "community" which refers basically to what, tryharding gamers addicted to the game and never satisfied? This basis for a "community" is toxic whatever the game or the circumstances, they feel like everything is due to them because they paid some money? Destiny is a HUGE game with lots of efforts put on lore & storyline, quests, weapons design, gunplay, music (DESTINY'S MUSIC HOLY SHIT), dungeons that are insanely fun and challenging at the same time (that players prefer to cheese and glitch-exploit rather than enjoying as a full experience JUST BECOZ LOOTS LOOTLSLOTSLOSTOSOTOTSOOTOSOST asdafsdafsdaf). There is so much content to be glad for in D2. Nothing is perfect, but the first to not be perfect is definitely the self-entitled "community" who, I think, lost a bit of objectivity on the fact it's a game that wants you to have FUN and ALLOWS you to do so in so many ways. Heck, they don't even fix most glitches and just take responsibility for them, because they acknowledge people are using them for their own fun and strats… If someone's not having fun anymore by playing Destiny, maybe they played too much of the game as one has had too much chocolate for too long.
    Thank you Fair Kackis for voicing the fact the event was free and accessible to everyone, as well as having great and motivating fun rewards (yooo dragonfly on a kinetic SMG? Killing Wind/Swashbuckler on a machine gun? Of course Avalanche isn't usable in a GM nightfall, but I still used it in DSC where it did a really decent job, so what the fuck? Let's shred!!). Because that's often the case compared to other games, seriously.
    Yeah Destiny 2 Isn't perfect, but I feel for Bungie's team who still gets a lot of ungratefulness despite achieving excellent work overall, and for a long period of time. I hope the game keeps going in this global direction, because man, D2 is unique and beautiful.

  31. Proud baker of over 5k cookies here, and my time was wasted. Every character has all gear and weapons masterworks, excluding exotics with no mw. Have all raid exotics and all the bullshit. My reward for my intense grinding and cookie baking? High recoil smg, bullet hose, mid range destroyer of worlds which is obsolete considering telesto and jotunn. But at least I have another ascendant shard and a ghost she'll. Honestly so much wasted potential. I was expecting a felwinters lie type deal with this but nooo. Sock engram
