After months with no Diablo Immortal news or update, we revisit and review the game after the Blizzcon 2018 announcement reaction. I got early access to an alpha build and compare Diablo Immortal vs. Diablo 3. Barbarian gameplay shown. We also talk about the story and lore of Immortal.

No release date or launch date yet. No update on Diablo Immortal on PC.

  2. All well and fun until you hit that pay wall. Like all mobile games you will need to pay some cash to get ahead. For those folks that say they can do it without using their cash are 1. Have a lot of time on their hand 2. Do you have a job? 3. Probably live off the income of an other. 4. Do you guys not have phones?

  3. i am just going to play this game on PC, thru like Phone Emulator. or Ipad. Its the only way. Phone playing for more than 30mins is waste to play on phone. That what most mobile players do, they play small things on the go, but the major games, they play it on there computers/faster devices thru emulators.

  4. Diablo Immortal is Pay to Win. Won't be playing it.

Had it only had cosmetics, mounts, etc. I'd be fine with that. Anything that speeds up progression in what is intrinsically a grinding game… means it is Pay to Win and is garbage.

  5. Love Diablo but this looks like a "no thx" for me. Mobile games I tend to stay away from due ad spams, extreme monetization, and pay to win. I see this being no different

  6. Why would a PC gamer that doesn't play on a mobile take note of a mobile game just because it has a diablo name on it. It is still a mobile game and plays along the same line of microtransactions all mobile eventually take. Not interested thx.

  7. Hey Rhykker, I haven't watched the full video yet as I would like to experience the game for myself but a thing that I haven't seen discussed anywhere so far is whether the game allows for the use of external controllers (via bluetooth or other means). Or does it require you to hunch over the little screen with thumbs covering half of the screen?
Basically I'm thinking if it's possible to have a PS4 controller control the game while it's being cast onto a huge TV, turning your phone into a console?

  8. Honestly looks great, better than all the “3 rooms and a boss” pretend arpgs on mobile. People trashing this obviously are not familiar with mobile games, this looks way better than anything on the market right now.

  9. I finished the Alpha content a few days ago and so far loving it. It really does feel like Diablo3 mobile edition, but there are certainly some nice quality-of-life changes. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. Transmogs would be great, but I hear that's a no. Also, Monks are OP and play great. Performance is fantastic on my Note10+, graphics look amazing.

  10. This looks more interesting then D3. Still not to keen on pvp implementation (forced hours only) but its leaps ahead of D3 which dsoesn't have a que or hostile functionality aka nothing.

btw. I'm sure reforge stones and leveling gear won't be gated behind super scares rersources for f2players. kapp EDIT: rhykkee rjust confiormed it in the video LOL. At this point im not surprised there isn't a failed state for level your gear where your gear pieceactually gets destroyed (yes, this exists in contemporary f2p mmos).

  11. I like it! I am accustomed to this monetisation model, I play a vertical shoot em up for more than a year and it's very reasonable. For the regular price of a sandwich a month, I keep the pace very nicely
